Former radio host Mike Smith has tracked down Bruce Wilson who was the sexual partner of Julia Gillard when she helped him rip of the AWU of over $1 million back in the 1990’s.
On Friday Mike Smith did an interview with Sydney radio host Alan Jones covering the fraud. What became clear to me while listening to the interview, given the amount of new detail, is that Mike Smith is still on the trail of the missing money and Julia Gillard and her involvement. I spoke to Mike Smith today and he confirmed that he is very much still on the case.
Bruce Wilson is the one person who very much holds the key as far as knowledge and evidence of Julia Gillard’s involvement in the fraud in concerned. Now he has been found it may only be a matter of time before he spills the beans on Julia Gillard. Mike Smith talks about it in his interview with Alan Jones.

Below is the interview by Alan Jones with Mike Smith. It starts off with Alan Jones giving a background overview then he gives Mike Smith plenty of air time to say what he knows. And he knows plenty. For those who do not know Alan Jones has the number 1 ranked radio show in Sydney.
The interview is a must listen for every Australian. With unanswered questions in Gillard’s background of involvement in fraud and theft she should never have been allowed to become Prime Minister.

Bob Kernohan and Mike Smith went to Canberra a couple of weeks ago and held a press conference in the Senate court-yard of Parliament House. There were about 12 reporters there and numerous television crews. But no one reported on it the next day. I spoke to Bob Kernohan who tells me he was talking to Channel 10 reporter Hugh Riminton after the press conference. Mr Riminton said to Bob Kernohan words to the effect “everyone who has touched this has lost their jobs” obviously in reference to former radio announcer Mike Smith and journalist Glenn Milne.
Well known con-man, fraudster and scam artist Larry Pickering, who in the last few weeks has started reporting on Julia Gillard and the AWU fraud and theft, is claiming credit for a lot of the information that is coming to hand. In fact in a post he did about 12 hours after the Alan Jones / Mike Smith interview he claims credit for just about everything Mike Smith said.
In his new website Larry Pickering says “Revelations exposed in The Pickering Post last week have been verified by sacked radio host, Michael Smith, to 2GB’s Alan Jones this morning.”
If you listen to the Alan Jones interview and then read Larry Pickering’s post you realise that Pickering has lifted almost all the information from the Alan Jones / Mike Smith interview. Not surprisingly Mr Pickering has not put a link to the interview in his post. (Click here to read his post)
Larry Pickering is currently under investigation by the Queensland fraud squad for ripping off nearly 300 people of over $15 million. Pickering has a long history of running scams dating back many years. Last year the Channel 9 program, A Current Affair, did a story on his latest fraud and theft. It is not the first time A Current Affair have been on his case. My problem with Pickering reporting like he does where he is very liberal with the truth and takes credit for everything is that in 1,2,3 or 6 months down the track if and when Gillard’s past does hit the fan she will say that it is all coming from Pickering and he has no creditability given his own history.
What Pickering’s game is I do not know. Maybe if and when he is charged with fraud he will claim it is politically motivated because of his reporting on Gillard. I will have more on Pickering in the near future in a post that I will do on Internet Trolls.

Good work again Shane. Michael Smith is indeed a terrier that just refuses to let go.
I think you are wrong regarding Pickering taking from Jones talk. The scam was reported in Hansard in Vic in about 1995. Go to Pickerings blog and it goes back about 8 weeks. He joined many bits and pieces. He also told how Gillard blackmailed the press. I have no idea about his being a con man, but that does not necessarily detract from what he has exposed. Just as the bloke admitting he was to pick up the drugs associated with Corby, who is now in jail, should be discounted.
A very poor interview by Jones, he kept cutting across the answers. Smith was most impressive.

wow, i know that 2 people got the sack for raising this matter, but all reporters, with exception to the ABC, should report on this together. She cant sack everyone en masse. Us mere earthians would be sitting in jail and shes running the country? Any wonder the Thomson affair is on a go slow. Having read everything in your blogs on this matter and everything Pickering has posted, I have to say you exaggerate the situation to your detriment. Where in the lines below is claiming credit for just about everything?

It would be a great shame if those doing the valuable work of discrediting the Gillard government end up destroying their own credibility in the process. There is enough of that going on between Labor, the Unions and the Greens. Furthermore, Pickering is a renowned cartoonist. The labels fraudster and scam artist do not apply since he has not been convicted of either.
Most of what Mike Smith said to Alan Jones had not been revealed by Pickering at all. Google Larry Pickering and Fraud or Scam and have a good look. But like I said I will deal wit that in a future post more.
Shane, Thank you for posting. It’s not about who revealed this or about Pickering’s past. We all need to focus on the job and present a united front here. We bloggers are the Goliaths of the 21’s century but there will be carnage if we start belting each other around the head!

Good story Shane don’t relent. The media obviously is terrified of Gillard et al and editors throughout the nation’s media should be sacked and prosecuted under the Nuremberg principle. However the way in which the Murdoch empire is unravelling overseas should soon have an impact in Australia. Murdoch and Fairfax have for years practised censorship, particularly during the Hanson era and more recently Katter. The Queensland Country Life newspaper from the Fairfax stable is a great example. Its editor is former Liberal MHR Cameron Thompson who is terrified of the Katter juggernaut sweeping North Australia. Is there any way under NSW law that WILSON could be given leniency if he denounces the PM , by telling the true story of Gillards’ action in this crime? It’s not as though we don’t know that she was a significant initiator in ripping off the AWU! The fact that she could state “I was young and naive” , (yet she was considered by Slater and Gordon as competent to be a PARTNER in their firm?) makes her statement a confession of being involved! For this reason alone, Gillard should NEVER have been accepted into Rudds Government! With a probable Criminal past what other crimes has she committed that we have not discovered yet? God help Tony Abbott when he becomes PM , as he will have to source and FIX all of the UNION/LABOR Party crimes, which will make his job unenviable!

From booking the restaurant right next door to the 40 year tent embassy anniversary, preparing the reporter from the ABC to ask the ‘moving on’ question to Tony Abbott back in Sydney, inviting Abbott to the Gillard ‘inaugural’ volunteers awards (so Abbott would accept the invite with his strong involvement with volunteers), the lone camera man recording the performance inside the Lobby restaurant and the great pretender and manipulator putting on a rehearsed excruciating act, even allowing ‘security’ to give the security details of the so-called escape for the TV news later …even her bodyguard looked like he was about to burst out laughing when Juliar was dragged down the hill.
Juliar is obsessed with Abbott and has attacked him relentlessly and Australia Day was just another grubby attempt to discredit Abbott that was part of a long held plot, that involved her mate Kim Sattler from Unions ACT, who was also a guest at the awards before rushing down to the Tent Embassy blurting out THEIR preplanned rubbish about Abbott wanting to pull down the Embassy and that he was stating this right NOW to reporters and that they should all go and see Abbott and led the charge to where Abbott was, who was NOT speaking to any reporters but was quietly mingling with guests.
Tony Hodges from the PM’s office was the fall guy and was quickly shipped out of the country and never heard from since.

An off topic question, Shane, why is Paul Howes making such a determined effort to stand behind Gillard as PM, when we have recently read a lengthy interview between Howes and Womans Weekly, about his sad life, as an adoptee, leaving school at 14, etc. and his ambition to become PM? He is as bad as Gillard with LIES and has not been fair to the AWU members, as he did nothing to regain the stolen funds! He also did not donate his house as he promised.
Julia Gillard relies on the AWU a lot to stay in power and given that Paul Howes is the National Secretary of The Australian Workers Union she to some degree becomes their puppet. If Rudd takes back over the AWU lose a lot of their power and influence.
Paul Howes has all the documents in relation to the Julie Gillard / Bruce Wilson fraud but does nothing because they do not want to take Gillard down. The president of the AWU Bill Ludwig was the one who originally swept it under the carpet in the 1990’s.
Mr Ludwig has also recently been stealing from the AWU to pay for his own private legal expenses to the tune of $50,000. I wrote about this in a previous post.
This is beginning to sound like the Heiner Affair and perhaps HOWES will shred any documents he has!
Associating someone like Pickering with story like this looks a bit like a variant of the propaganda trick known as “poisoning the well”. This is where certain truths are leaked out surrounded by unrealistic lies and distractions, discrediting the whole package. This version seems to be to place the truth in the hands of someone untrustworthy to “leak”, thus discrediting the story because the person claiming ownership of it isn’t trusted.
If you read Pickerings blogs where he talks about landing the helicopter on a postage stamp – That done it for me!
So, I note sat and today the msm seem to be ignnoring this development.

The whole thing stinks, these union thugs need as kick up the back side, our country has been taken over not by communists but gangsters, gangsters who steal from their own members, gangsters who have run up so much debt that it will take a lifetime to pay back, truth is we need a royal commission into this whole affair, Unions and Labor.
Gillard should be charged with treason, so should Rudd, for throwing away tax payers money and for lying to the people.
We need just two strong trustful men or women to stand up, pull the pin on this whole sorry saga and get some decency back into our society. They wont do it of coarse because they are intimidated by the bikie backed union thugs.

Why should we the public wait for the likes of the main stream media to decided what we should or should not see?
A cameraman taping this interview and then focusing in on each of the reporters present as well and identifying their media owners would have been gold.
I spoke Bob Kernohan and he said a couple of days afterwards when it had not not been reported on Mike Smith tried to get a copy of the video but everyone said they did not have a copy. But stay tuned if the MSM media do not do something I think more will be on the net soon.
As I understand it, the articles and constitution for HSUEast . . . indeed some other unions as well . . .allow their President to spend the union funds in any way he/she sees fit. Julia knows this full well. Indeed, she briefed the media about this under strict confidentiality, so the story goes.
Because of all the fracas from Ms Jackson to the media and the general public, about the various moneys spent on prostitutes, etc, Julia wants to have a trial so that Thomson can be found not to have breached the law or the union’s rules. He and she can thus be cleared of criminal activities to enable his return to Parliament.
I believe the court’s ruling is a foregone conclusion.
Hi James; notwithstanding your comments re ‘in house’ expenditure, there exists a case for fraud concerning HSU’S printer of Palm Beach. Both Mr Williams and Mr Thomson were issued with credit cards [ apparently ] —-,such kick backs are considered fraudulent and if proved, punishable under NSW and Federal laws. A great interview! Truth as it always does will come out. This deceitful and lying woman will be exposed along with her corrupt union mates. Does being ‘young and naive’ excuse you for committing fraud? As good an excuse as “I was provoked into killing my wife” or I was drunk. None of these excuse the act and she must pay the penalty. Gillard is an offence to everything that is decent in this country and yet brainwashed ‘I vote Labor because my dad did’ people still support her. I suggest they listen to this interview.
For years Rupert Murdoch has led Australian politicians by the nose. He boasted he ‘installed’ Whitlam and was just as ready to take credit for Gough’s demise. His good mate Bob Hawke and that wonderful Australian Paul Keating changed the media ownership laws to benefit Murdoch and Kerry Parker. (Remember the prohibitions on ‘Cross-media’ ownership?). No one was up in arms about that at the time. Now you have the media you deserve.
I listened to the interview and also saw it on Pickering, I do not know the man, but have to say that it sounds as though he got all the info out of the interview.
I believe we should stick with Shane, as he did all the groundwork. I also think, that if the MSM is not going to report it, we have to try and inundate the opposition with this information.
I am sending this all to my MP via email and put a letter in the post, with copies of Shane.s web-sites. We have to try for an election, after all this Government should not even be in office, it is illegal, if nobody is allowed to talk about it, they have to bring it up in Parliament.
These are very serious allegations against Gillard, so serious that I am surprised that she has not lodged a Writ of Defamation in any or all of the Australian Supreme Courts. If I was accused of “theft”, the way she has been in concert with Bruce Wilson, I could not lodge the Writ quick enough, my solicitor and I would be making a deposit on our own private island off Tahiti (read, we would laugh all the way to the bank). But, and a big BUT, she has not said a word and nor has Wilson. The Judge’s verdict – GUILTY, the penalty – TO REMAIN A MEMBER OF THE LABOR PARTY FOR LIFE.
Bruce, when she was first asked about the Wilson affair, she did not state that she would lodge a writ of Defamation, just that she was “young and Naive”, so her GUILTY actions were apparent then and she should NEVER have been a member of Rudds Govt.!

The whole point of the Kangaroo Court site was for Shane to bring attention to what occurs in the courts, particularly the Federal Court and the so-called separation of powers which is supposed to exist in Australia. Many people probably thought that interference in the courts and the court outcomes by the government of the day would never occur in Australia. But it can be seen now that the government and the unions are corrupt so it naturally follows that we cannot rely upon our system of justice to give us the truth or in fact “justice” in the courts. It is all pretty much disgraceful …
Having listened to the report by Alan Jones, I am literally gobsmacked. All this knowledge that would put Mr. & Mrs. average straight into prison, for ever and a day, just doesn’t get into the correct channels. Why is it that people with all the facts haven’t handed them over to start a royal commission??

Fraud and misconduct “grey areas” in the workplace
Yesterday’s Human Capital Australia magazine outlined a recent decision by Fair Work Australia (FWA) and the implications for dealing with fraud and misconduct in the workplace.
A supermarket store manager was dismissed for taking groceries without paying, however the dismissal was overturned by FWA and he was awarded more than $15,000 in compensation as the matter was not properly investigated. The manager claimed that he intended to pay for the groceries at a later stage and in the absence of an appropriate investigation there was inadequate proof that this was not the case.
In his judgement Commissioner Ian Cambridge said that a “proper, comprehensive and balanced” consideration should have been provided before dismissing the employee. A warning or dismissal with a notice period may have been a more suitable response. Hi Shane, Interesting about Mike Smith and the tracking down of Bruce Wilson. I know where you are coming from re the Pickering thing, but I did get the impression that it was him, Pickering, who found Wilson (or “we”.) Is there a connection between him and Mike Smith or was it Mike who found him and Pickering sort of inferring it was him.? I know Mike Smith is an ex cop and he is pretty passionate about getting justice over this matter (plus the Thomson matter) and he probably has good connections. I think Mike Smith has integrity and wish him all the best in his fight, especially as it became personal to him!

Probably just a coincidence but it looks like Wilson was found hanging out somewhere near Thomson’s seat of Dobell. Maybe they have been swapping notes. Wilson sure seems to have fallen a long way down the ladder from his days with AWU and having so much “money at his disposal”. Maybe he would be tempted to tell all. Sounds like he needs the money and he would be very cheesed off with Gillard’s success.

I do realise that the allegations have been around for a long time and I also realise that very few questions have been asked in relation to them as opposed to the number of questions the Opposition asked about Thomson, which all seem to have come to an abrupt halt for reasons obviously known only to the Opposition. Perhaps you can enlighten me as to why the Opposition suddenly went to ground in relation the the Thomson affair. Was it because he might harm himself? If he threatened to do so then I would ask him, “Is that a promise”? and then continue with the pressure.
However, you will say that nothing has been proved in a Court of Law to date and until it has the Opposition can do nothing. (The General Public’s attitude seems to be that they are both thieves and liars, we all know that, and really should be dealt with as such). Thanks again,

G’day Rod – followed your suggestion putting direct questions to Abbott re the Gillard/Rudd past histories of alleged criminal behaviour, ie. Vic Govt Hansard on AWU Wilson/Gillard fraud, Heiner Affair Qld etc – got a form email back bemoaning their lack of staff to answer all correspondence. I knew it would be a waste of time – I’ve done it before.
We aren’t complaining about pot-holes in the roads or the price of onions. We have perfectly reasonable questions to ask about matters of Public Record; matters alleging criminal behaviour in the Office of Prime Minister, by Union powerbrokers in the Labor party – a wealth of evidence that is mounting on a daily basis – and we get a dismissive, patronising “Thanks for your email” (but don’t hold your breath waiting for any kind of meaningful response.)
Until such time as Abbott and his Opposition benches conduct themselves in a manner that convinces me that they want serious reform in this utterly corrupt government and bureaucracy, then I will consider them to be equally culpable with the MSM, the Greens and every other political/judicial entity that has worked so diligently to sweep this blatantly criminal theft of Australian Workers’ money into the dustbin of history.

Considering Julia Gillard was the Lawyer for the Union, she would have been fully aware that the rules dictated consent was required for the Bank Account to be opened in to which the cheques were credited. The fact that cheques were then drawn from the proceeds of such cheques for the purchase of the property – and subsequently the balance of the sale proceeds were not paid to the Union – means that Gillard must have known what was going on. How she can claim she was young and naiive is beyond me. She was a partner at Slater & Gordon, not a mere Secretary. Having worked in legal offices for many years, and exclusively in conveyancing for the past fifteen odd years, using basic conveyancing principles, she (or whoever at Slater & Gordon handled the purchase of the property) should have obtained written consent from the Union for the property to be purchased in the individual’s name – and again, written consent for the balance of the sale proceeds to be paid to the individual and not the Union (though at the time the property was sold it was in the name of the individual and this may have enabled payment of the balance of sale proceeds to the individual without any signed authority).
I also wonder how Slater & Gordon have managed have not been implicated in the whole affair. I have seen first hand what happens when the Federal Police believe there has been criminal behaviour by an employee Lawyer – and the law firm also becomes implicated in the Lawyer’s actions.
At the very least, Julia Gillard should have to face Court and put her case along with the others involved in this tawdry affair.
the high court judges were all appointed by Julia. they are going to judge her, Julia wil be celebrating her win even before the case is heard…..The only way is for a few MPS from labour to resign immediately and this will force an election and then the whole ALP will be blasted out. Then a royal commisison will take over.

The average punter has no idea of the depth of corruption in the labor party.

The MSM must realize that it’s getting out of hand and the time for them to play a part is NOW. They need to expose this, even if they have to form a private group of journalists first so as to attack all at once. As someone pointed out above, Gillard cannot fire EVERYBODY.

As a Welsh born Australian resident (like gillard) and single dad of 2 Australians I am astounded at the AWU theft and misappropriation allegations about julia gillard ! If these are true with any substance then is tony megus AFP asleep…why isn’t the AFP investigating it ? AS a news talk shock jock and investigative reporter I find it inexplicable !
Welcome to down under! I was born in Holland and came here many years ago, I have read all the proof I need to know Gillard is guilty, just read everything on this Kangaroo Court Website and get Shane Dowling’s book, it is all there.
I have children and grandchildren and ask you to help us in getting back to the Australia, it used to be.
