This website has achieved a lot in its time and does better than most from a fundraising viewpoint. Everyone who has supported this site in any way can take some credit for its achievements. But it is still not raising enough to succeed like it could. So I am having a fundraiser to hopefully allow the site to move up a gear or 2 and help it accomplish what it is capable of.

KCA has been funded over the last 5 months from donations (thank you to everyone who has donated) and from my savings. That cannot last forever as my savings are limited. I am at the pointy end driving the issues but I can only achieve so much by myself. To really get the results (we would all like) I need your support.

What KCA does

Kangaroo Court of Australia started out because the mainstream media rarely reported on judicial corruption. As it turns out they ignore a lot of corruption. The old media are starting to contract and employ less journalists so it is important for democracy that websites like this one step up to fill the void and keep governments and others accountable.

This site has been at the forefront of many important public interest issues such as:

1. The Julia Gillard AWU fraud which I started investigating in 2006 and wrote about on this site in 2011 which helped get the ball rolling in the MSM.

2. Last year the mainstream media refused to name Rolf Harris even though his name was all over Twitter. This site did and in under a week had over 200,000 page views and over 7000 likes on Facebook. This helped get information to the public that the mainstream media refused to do.

3. Bill Shorten is currently being investigated by the Victorian police which everyone has a right to know and this site has been the only site to regularly report on it.

A lot of the stories on this site that are in the public interest are not covered by the mainstream media, just have a look at the last 10, 20 or 30 posts and you can see for yourself.
