Senator Bill Heffernan claimed in Parliament on Tuesday (19/10/15) that he has a police list of 28 prominent people that includes a former Prime Minister and current judges that are suspected of being paedophiles. This is dynamite and an issue that will not go away until it is dealt with in full in an open and public manner.
There is enough detail in Senator Heffernan’s allegations to make them very credible. Some of the details are:
- The list “formed part of police documents that had been “signed off” by Gary Crooke, QC, the former senior counsel assisting NSW’s Wood royal commission into police corruption in the 1990s. Mr Crooke declined to comment when contacted by Fairfax Media on Tuesday.”
- The list includes a former Australian Prime Minister, judges, members of the legal fraternity and others.
- “Every Commonwealth attorney-general since Philip Ruddock had seen the list”. This seems to have been confirmed by Philip Ruddock and Former Labor Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus.
- Senator Heffernan “accused former royal commissioner Justice James Roland Wood of refusing to investigate lawyers who had allegedly attended a Kings Cross “boy brothel”. (Click here to read more)
- The name of the club was Costellos and was a known “boy brothel” attended by members of the Sydney legal fraternity. (Click here to read more)
- Former Royal Commissioner Wood denied the allegations by Senator Heffernan, but not outright. “Mr Wood could not recall if the alleged list had been raised at the 1995 commission but said: “I reject that we failed to investigate anyone that fell within our terms of reference.” That is a very weak denial by Mr Wood and allows him plenty of wriggle room to change his story later down the track if needed. In 2012 Greg Smith who was then the NSW Attorney-General attacked the credibility of child victim of Father Finian Egan who is Mr Smith’s friend. Father Finian Egan was convicted of being a paedophile in 2013 and sentenced to 8 years jail with a minimum of 4 years for abusing numerous girls. (Click here to read more)
Tony Abbott and George Brandis
In July 2015 I wrote a post titled: “Tony Abbott and Brandis both secretly met with paedophile protector George Pell. Why?” (Click here to read more) The title says it all and raises many questions.
In just the 3 examples above we have numerous people with serious questions to answer which should be done at a judicial inquiry specifically for the legal fraternity. Some of those questions are:
- So why did Greg Smith attack one of the victims in an attempt to defend a paedophile and should Greg Smith be allowed to work as a barrister?
- Why has Premier Baird allowed Judge Garry Neilson, who at best is sick and demented, to continue to work as a judge?
- Given the list Senator Heffernan has relates to alleged paedophiles in NSW why has Premier Baird been totally silent on the issue?
Then there is regular stories in the media about paedophiles getting reduced sentences, suspended sentences and bail when they have pleaded guilty. The judges and prosecutors who do this or allow it to happen need investigating.
A dangerous game for Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull if he fails to act
The matter cannot be swept under the carpet and has to be investigated as it won’t go away until it is dealt with the same as it hasn’t gone away in Britain. If PM Turnbull tries to cover it up then he owns it and is part of the problem. To be left as it is will smear the name of all former Prime Ministers and eventually at least one or two of them will demand an inquiry you would think.
There is a lot more to come in this story. It’s just a matter of time.

The Royal Commission needs to change its terms of reference and than go about smoking out these pedophiles from there caves.

The person in Heffernon’s list wasn’t necessarily the PM at the time of the offending, or should I say, at the commencement of their offending, but is now a former PM is the way I read it.

“Heffernan’s allegations against Kirby included the inappropriate use of a Commonwealth car to solicit sex from an under-age male prostitute,[7] and to support these claims he produced what appeared to be a driver’s log book recording the alleged trip. The documents were found to be a forgery.
Heffernan came under prolonged political pressure as a result of this episode, and was eventually asked by Prime Minister John Howard to resign his post as Parliamentary Secretary, which he did.[8] On 19 March he made a statement to the Senate in which he withdrew the claims”.
It is clear to me that Heffernan was right but was forced to withdraw his claims under pressure.
I do not know if he was right about Kirby but the evidence that Senator Heffernan has now is a lot more powerful and needs to be investigated.

I agree with both Melbaver and Fidopuss and remember this disgraceful headlines but it was a time (due to our upbringing) when I and many others had too much respect for politicians etc. We just couldn’t believe such a damming scandal would be true especially about a PM. This naive and old fashioned trust and respect given by the majority (tax payers and voters) of ordinary people in general (young and old) is “well and truely broken” and “long gone” FOR the so called leaders in all areas of our society. Surely that would be the right thing to do, I quite believe what you have posted, as there seems to be more corruption in the Judiciary than in the normal world. That is not being touched either.

It does not look that Heffernan’s claims against Kirby were false.
The problem is not who the PM was/is! The problem we have is that it actually shows how high,entrenched and protected these filth are in our society! When are our police and courts going to get serious and protect our most vulnerable from these scum. But until those in positions of power are exposed and jailed nothing will change!!

Heffernan has previously confused being homosexual with being a paedophile. Any evidence from him comes from unclean hands and must be treated with suspicion. That said, such is the gravity of the allegations there should be at least be an investigation given the purported provenance of the document.
Then again, the Federal Court and the associated cronies are a protected species that take care of their own.
What about the alleged paedophile ring in Victoria which includes politicians, police, media personalities and network staff. The police refuse to investigate.

I know a former Police Officer who said the same thing with the Judges being pedos who give light sentences to there partners in crime even if they are repeat offenders.
No matter how much a pedo gets caught there sent a few months in prison and released just to be caught again and sent to prison for a few months and the process repeats it self.
My friend knows a pedo who got caught numerous times over the last decade for possession and got out only after a few months each time and worse is that he was not an Austrlian citizen but on a visa from Scotland and not once was he deported.
