Cardinal George Pell

God says Cardinal George Pell will go to hell. Unless of course, God’s teachings in the Bible are a lie.

Based on the Catholic Church’s teachings of God there can be no doubt that Cardinal George Pell has gone to hell and not heaven, after his death on the 10th of January 2023, which is something his supporters are ignoring. Their ignorance of that fact, which includes Pope Francis, greatly undermines the reputation of the Catholic Church and religion as a whole.

I am not a religious person, but I have always been aware, like most people, that one of the teachings of religions is that good people go to heaven and bad people go to hell after death.

Catholicism and Hell as per Wikipedia: Hell in Catholicism is the “state of definitive self-exclusion from communion with God and the blessed” which occurs by the refusal to repent of mortal sin before one’s death, since mortal sin deprives one of sanctifying grace. (Click here to read more)

George Pell certainly failed to repent his sins before his death such as his perjured evidence in 2014 at the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse. (Click here to read more) That alone says he has gone to Hell.

I have written about George Pell and his own alleged abuse of children since at least 2013 and I published a book in 2020 titled “Australia’s Paedophile Protection Racket” in which George Pell gets mentioned numerous times so I know his background well.

Whether people believe George Pell was a paedophile himself is not important to determine if Pell would go to hell. Because there is a truckload of evidence to say George Pell openly supported and protected convicted paedophiles and that Pell lied all day every day denying survivors of paedophile catholic priests justice and that is enough to say that Pell would go to hell and not heaven.

In the below video are Anthony and Christine Foster (2012) who had 2 daughters abused by a priest. They fought the church for 9 years to get compensation. Pell said to them regarding paedophile priests: “We won’t believe any of this. It’s all gossip until it’s proven in court”.

So George Pell made sure the Church abused the law and dragged out compensation claims (Click here to read more) unless the survivors agreed to a maximum $50,000 and silence.

George has a long history of lying and was caught out on camera in the 2002 interview on 60 Minutes with reporter Richard Carlton. In that interview George Pell said aggressively that he did not offer a victim $50,000 to settle with the church. Then Richard Carlton produced a letter of offer from the church’s law firm saying words to the effect that “we represent George Pell and are offering you $50,000 to settle the matter.” (The video is below and I have edited it down to 2 1/2 minutes.)

George Pell was first accused of being a paedophile in 2002 and was forced to step aside as Archbishop of Sydney while his alleged abuse of a 12-year-old boy was investigated by the Church. This is important because a lot of the media and Pell supporters ignore this fact.

Pell’s supporters attack the media and courts for Pell’s treatment, but they conveniently forget that George Pell was never cleared by the Church for abusing the 12-year-old boy even though Pell told the media he had been “exoneratedby the church-appointed inquiry. (Click here to read more)

In 2016 the ABC reported that “Cardinal George Pell groped 3 boys and exposed himself to another 3 boys”. (Click here to read more)

Pell faced criminal charges, in 2017, for the alleged abuse of 2 different boys. Pell was acquitted after a dodgy High Court judgment as reported by 2 Law Lecturers:

“For many, it will be impossible to understand how the unanimous jury verdicts of guilty, further supported by a Court of Appeal majority of two judges, can now be overturned. The High Court decision may undermine confidence in the legal system, especially in child sexual abuse prosecutions.”

The jury saw and heard all the evidence, in the context of the trial. It was their legal function to make this decision. Careful analysis of the full reasoning of the High Court is required to fully assess it. But, for now, this extraordinary outcome is strange justice indeed.

Pell has won today on a legal technicality, but he will continue to be assailed by multiple lawsuits. In contrast, the complainant has been believed by a jury, by a majority judgment and by a substantial body of public opinion. (Click here to read more)

A civil claim by the father of one of the boys, who is now deceased, will continue even after Pell’s death.

Rupert Murdoch and Pope John Paul II

Media such as News Corp are laying it on thick trying to make out George Pell was a saint but they fail to report News Corp’s close financial ties to the Church and that their Chairman Rupert Murdoch was awarded a papal knighthood from Pope John Paul II in 1998. It reportedly disgusted many Christians given Murdoch is well-known as a “purveyor of newspaper sex, scandal and nudity”. (Click here to read more)

Below is a video of Rupert Murdoch in 1998 and his then-wife Anna being awarded papal honours and being made a Knight and Dame of St. Gregory.

So when Rupert Murdoch’s News Corp is defending George Pell they are doing it on Murdoch’s instructions as they do with many issues.

In 2020 ABC’s Media Watch host Paul Barry posted a story that was clearly and deliberately biased in favour of George Pell and I have no doubt it was an attempt to rebirth Pell’s severely tarnished reputation and they will probably do it again in the future. (Click here to read more)

In the below photo, Catholic priest Gerald Ridsdale (left, in sunglasses and hat) walks to court, accompanied by his support person (Bishop George Pell, then an auxiliary bishop in Melbourne), when Father Ridsdale was pleading guilty to his first batch of criminal charges in May 1993 for sexually abusing children. But no bishop accompanied the victims, who felt deserted by the church leaders.

The above photo is the most damaging to Pell’s credibility as George Pell not only supported paedophile priest Gerald Ridsdale in court after he confessed to raping children but Pell also lived with Gerald Ridsdale for a number of years, so he had to of known of the child abuse by Gerald Ridsdale. And when the whole world knew Gerald Ridsdale was a paedophile after Ridsdale confessed to the crimes George Pell continued to support him in court.

The only person who would support a confessed paedophile in court is another paedophile.

Above is only a small part of the evidence against George Pell and any true believer in God and his teachings should acknowledge that Pell has gone to Hell. That raises the question of why do people including Pope Francis continue to support Pell.

What survivors should remember is that it is their persistence in demanding justice that led to George Pell being exposed for who he is and Pell’s legacy will continue to damage the Catholic Church until it changes or goes broke from all the compensation claims from survivors. The survivors are turning the tables and should be very proud of themselves.

  1. All churches are Catholic, which comes from the Greek, meaning Universal. The correct name is the Roman Catholic Church which should not be confused with the Protestant Churches.

  2. The ENABLERS have contributed to trauma and misery to members of the community and turned a blind eye. lts time now for them to have the courage to repent and ask for forgiveness before it’s too late for their souls.

  3. I lost respect for the High Court after the Liam Magill fiasco. Then there was the Dyson Heydon cover-up. Maybe Pell`s exoneration might need a closer look? But don`t expect the legal profession to lead the charge. Nearing a thousand solicitors and barristers disbarred, fined or censured over the last two decades. And that`s just the ones caught.

  4. Pell was found guilty by a jury after the most senior QC failed to find the slightest error in evidence given to the court by the ONLY living person other than Pell who was present at the alleged offence. That QC , surrounded by the court system which was his place of work, could not effect his sole task: destroying the case against Pell. As a result Pell was found guilty by the Jury. IF the smallest doubt had been raised successfully by this most senior QC, Pell would have been found ‘not guilty’ in that court.

  5. This is the most accurate report on Pell I have seen so far, he knew about the systemic child abuse and covered it up, whether he was a pedophile or not matters little, he did not stop it.

  6. We know Pell believed abortion was a worse crime than child sexual abuse. Why he ignored so many.
He lacked morals and compassion for young children. How many through his inaction have suicided?

  7. As usual, you base your reasoning on rock solid evidence that cannot be denied by clergy and other deniers such as Murdoch and the Vatican. They’re headed in the same direction as Pell, and the sooner the better. The only survivors of this disgusting body of deniers should be their guide dogs!

  8. Thank you for this piece of reporting. Never knew Rupert was a “knight” of the Catholic Church. Gives another insight into his”fingers in pies” and slants on so-called reporting in hte MSM.

  9. When you consider just how many child sexual abuse cases were uncovered by the Royal Commission across most major religious organisations, maybe it`s time to revoke their licence to pray and prey.

  10. Oh well no loss there with that swamp creature. Shame he’s avoided any real 3D justice though… time for the insidious lies peddled in that denomination to be put to the fire….

  11. I am so glad that he spent 400 days in solitary confinement. A taste of what is coming to him in an afterlife of hell.

  12. IMHO, at times in the future, the three-word slogan “Pell in Hell” or “Hell for Pell” could possibly be recounted and quoted alongside other familiar and far more simplistic three-word slogans broadly associated with Tony Abbott and Joe Hockey.

Those like “ditch the witch” “stop the boats” “lifters and leaners” “axe the tax” “jobs and growth” “debt and deficits” “repay the debt” “a stronger Australia” “stop the waste” etc. Remember LNP Policy by Pamphlet and LNP Government by three-word slogans. Who could forget?

The unqualified Power and Greed associated with the Roman Catholic church continues unabated. I personally don’t think that Pell will indeed RIP. Something I believe very many others think likewise.

  13. Its common knowledge to all protestants with any knowledge of theology that catholics place no emphassis at all on repentence. Th is was one of the reasons for the remfomation in the first place their weak theology not gelling with the bible.

  14. I am actually more shocked by the average catholics reaction at his funeral in Sydney many catholics appear to lack basic christian morality and empthy for others espcially those form some of the mid east and latin culture and ready back it up with violence pretty disturbing sight i saw and I am not the type that would protest a funeral.
I ve lost all respect for them now and see them as enablers. Look for forward to end times where quite of these be suprised by their after life fate.

  15. Thanks for a great summary here.Just waiting for the wonderful Janet Albrechtson to report without bias on this matter. Just like she has recently said she and the Australian reported without bias on the Lehrmann Higgins case. Yeah, right. I was and am personally outraged that our one National paper chooses to continue ie to paint Pell as a Saint when he was a sinner par excellence.
