NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet’s brothers, Charles and Jean-Claude, are fugitives in hiding from an NSW parliament corruption inquiry

NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet’s brothers, Charles and Jean-Claude, have become fugitives and are in hiding so they can’t be served with subpoenas to give evidence at an NSW parliament corruption inquiry.

The allegations against Charles and Jean-Claude include but are not limited to branch stacking, taking bribes and money laundering.

I previously published an article in July 2022 titled “NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet’s crime family, which includes brothers Jean-Claude and money launderer Charles, exposed” with most of the details of their alleged crimes. (Click here to read more)

The NSW parliament set up an inquiry titled “Allegations of impropriety against agents of the Hills Shire Council and property developers in the region” which is investigating the alleged crimes. The Inquiry has listed hearings with witnesses on Wednesday the 15th and Thursday the 16th of February 2023. (Click here to see on the NSW parliament website)

I published the below video on YouTube on Tuesday (14/2/23) which covers most of the issues:

As I say in the above video the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption is also investigating the matter which means Charles Perrottet and Jean-Claude Perrottet are also under investigation by the NSW ICAC for corruption.

Both Charles Perrottet and Jean-Claude Perrottet are now fugitives on the run. The ABC reported on Saturday the 11th of February 2023:

Committee member and Upper House deputy leader, John Graham, said the committee had issued the summons’ after the witnesses failed to respond to invitations to face the inquiry.

“The committee is now seeking the co-operation of witnesses who may have some light to shed on the suggestions that have been made, but have found it very hard to get them to agree to give evidence,” he said. “As a result, we have taken the serious step of issuing summons and we’re hoping there is co-operation with the work of the committee.”

Committee chair Sue Higginson said some individuals continued to ignore the committee’s correspondence and appeared to be deliberately avoiding accepting service of the summons.

“This appears to be a calculated and coordinated attempt to avoid scrutiny,” she said. “The committee is extremely concerned by this behaviour and calls on these individuals to cooperate with the inquiry.” (Click here to read more)

From my research, if someone ignores a summons from a NSW parliament inquiry to give evidence the parliament can get an NSW Supreme Court judge to issue an arrest warrant and make them appear at the inquiry. (Click here to read more)

I sent the below email to Committee Chair Sue Higginson on Tuesday (14/2/23) to see if there had been any change in the circumstances:

Dear Sir/Madam

I am a journalist and I have 2 questions regarding the inquiry into “Allegations of impropriety against agents of the Hills Shire Council and property developers in the region”.

  1. Have Charles Perrottet and Jean-Claude Perrottet been served the subpoena (reported in the media) to give evidence at the inquiry?
  2. Have Charles Perrottet and Jean-Claude Perrottet notified the inquiry if they intend giving evidence at the inquiry tomorrow or Thursday (15th and 16th  of February 2023)?

Please respond ASAP so I can publish.

Regards

Shane Dowling

I received the below response to my questions:

The Committee has made summons attempts for both Charles Perrottet and Jean-Claude Perrottet.

Personal service of the summons was not possible for either of them. At this stage, neither are scheduled to appear at the hearing tomorrow or Wednesday.

End of response (The Committee also published a letter with more details regarding people avoiding giving evidence. Click here to read the letter)

Premier Dominic Perrottet claims he has not spoken to his 2 brothers about the issue which I find impossible to believe. I have no doubt Charles and Jean-Claude going missing is a strategic decision related to the election.

Dominic obviously believes the embarrassment of his brothers going missing is better than them perjuring themselves with unbelievable lies at a parliament inquiry which could also then be used against them at the NSW ICAC inquiry that is investigating the same issues.

The fact that 2 brothers of the NSW Premier are in effect fugitives hiding from authorities is scandalous by itself. But what makes it a thousand times worse is that it is happening while Premier Dominic Perrottet is campaigning for the March 25 election asking NSW voters to give him another 4-year term.

I rate this as one of the biggest scandals I have ever seen at an election but so far there has been limited reporting on this issue by the old media even though it’s highly relevant to the NSW election and Dominic Perrottet’s suitability to be Premier. 1. No surprises here ! Take a lead from that somewhat vile fellow religious individual
    recently deceased George Peel

  2. Well there are no surprises with anyone in politics especially these so called good Catholics. There is an old saying you can run but you can not hide.

  3. I think we are suffering from the Stockholm syndrome. Can it get any worse? No wonder we have a mental health crises. The drug business both legal and illegal must be bucketing.
