Five-star and four-star book reviews for journalist Shane Dowling’s new book: Australia’s Paedophile Protection Racket

My new book “Australia’s Paedophile Protection Racket” is a true crime, political corruption and judicial corruption book. It was released on the 28th of September 2020, and the first few reviews have been posted on Amazon and Booktopia which have been very positive with 5-star and 4-star reviews.

Update 10/12/20

The below video is a book review by UK barrister Phillip Taylor MBE, Head of Richmond Green Chambers, Reviews Editor, “The Barrister”, and Mediator which was published on YouTube on the 9th of December 2020.

The first review was posted on Booktopia as per below:

This is a must-read for every Australian. But also an eye-opener for the rest of the world. Did you ever wonder why pedophiles get away with slap-on-wrist sentences? The judiciary is compromised. Gov officials are also compromised at the highest levels. They all look after themselves via “SUPPRESSION ORDERS” that cover up crime and allows criminals to get off scot-free.

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend to a friend

(Click here to see on Booktopia) Cazz from Sydney also gave a 5-star review on Booktopia a couple of days ago which you can also see on the previous link.

The second review I received was 4-stars on Amazon on the 20th of October as per below:

The 3 reviews are a good start and help with promoting the book to others. In the last couple of weeks, I have also sent copies of the book to Prime Minister Scott Morrison and NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian and attached a letter to both as per below:

Dear NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian

15th of October 2020

Please take the attached book, Australia’s Paedophile Protection Racket, as a formal complaint regarding government and judicial corruption. It is pointless to send it to the NSW ICAC as Commissioner Peter Hall is one of the numerous people in the book exposed for being corrupt.

There needs to be an independent public inquiry into the evidence and allegations exposed in the book.

I am the author of the book and I also publish the judicial/government corruption website Kangaroo Court of Australia.

I look forward to your response.

Regards

Shane Dowling

I sent a similar letter to Scott Morrison and will give an update when I get a response.

The back cover:

The release of the book didn’t go exactly to plan as I was meant to have 14 days after I approved the book until it was available at online bookshops but Amazon had it for sale the next day and I made a judgment call to publish an article the day after on the 26th of September promoting it. (Click here to see the article)

There were some issues initially waiting for other online bookshops to start selling it and different prices but that has settled down now. I set the recommended price, but the bookshops set what price they want. Click on the following links to see the book online at the bookshops at the current prices.

Amazon.com.au currently has the book for $44 which is the recommended price and they have free postage. The Book Depository has it listed for $46 with free postage worldwide, TheNile.com.au has it listed for $46.81 plus postage and others have it at varying prices such as Booktopia, Fishpond.com.au, Angus & Robertson, Barnes and Noble and Amazon.com

People who prefer to go to bookshops to buy the book should be able to order it at most bookshops. If money is a bit tight you can also ask your local library to buy a copy.

I will be doing a few promotional videos over the next few weeks and I have other plans to promote the book as well.

The reason for publishing the book is to help drive the issues raised in the book but also help fund me so I can work full-time as a journalist on this website. With old media companies contracting and reducing the number of journalists they employ it is important that independent journalists fill the void but at the moment there is no financial model that really works for independent journalists to survive. Publishing books will hopefully be a financial model that works and helps fund the journalist work I do on this website.

So, it would be greatly appreciated if you buy a copy of my new book and maybe think about buying a copy for a present for someone else. One of the best things you can do to help is to share this article. If you are not a book reader, please read below and support. And a big thank you to everyone who has already bought the book.
