Anthony Albanese – Peter Dutton “Uni-Party” exposed by Federal Court judgment trying to cover-up Liberal Party corruption

Anthony Albanese and Peter Dutton

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese’s dirty deal with opposition leader Peter Dutton to cover-up government corruption has again been exposed, after the government lost their court case against former Senator Rex Patrick, trying to conceal Liberal Party corruption.

The Labor Party and Liberal Party are no longer 2 separate political parties holding each other to account, they are a “Uni-Party” working together to conceal their corruption from the public.

I rate this as one of the biggest stories of the year because it supports the fact that the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) is a fraud designed by Anthony Albanese and Peter Dutton to cover-up government corruption.

Attorney-General (Cth) v Patrick [2024] FCAFC 126 – (Click here to read the judgment)

In January 2020 the $100 million Sports Rorts scandal hit the media after the Australian National Audit Office published a report that showed the awarding of grants was blatant pork barrelling.

In February 2020, Rex Patrick who was a Senator from 2017 to 2022, filed a Freedom of Information (FOI) application for:

“Any correspondence, briefing materials and advice sent by the Attorney-General’s Department to the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet that contain advice in relation to the administration of the Community Sport Infrastructure Grant Program by the Former Minister for Sport the Hon Bridget McKenzie.”

The Scott Morrison government refused to hand over a key document and gave Rex Patrick the run around until they lost government at the 21st of May 2022 election.

On 1st of June 2022, Mark Dreyfus KC was appointed as the new Attorney-General.

Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus and the Labor government have continued to refuse to hand over the key document since they came to power.

Rex Patrick has kept pushing for the document which led to last week’s judgment (25/9/24) by the Full Court of the Federal Court of Australia which the government lost. (The Full Court is the Federal Court’s appeal court) (Click here to read the judgment)

I published the below video titled “A-G Mark Dreyfus exposed in court trying to cover-up Liberal Party corruption” on the 30/9/24. (Click here to watch the below video on the Kangaroo Court of Australia YouTube channel)

I can only find 2 articles on the matter. One on the Michael West Media website and one on The Guardian website as per below:

The Guardian reported on the 25th of September 2024:

The full federal court has rejected the Commonwealth’s attempt to keep ministerial documents beyond the reach of freedom-of-information requests after their authors leave office.

Three judges dismissed a federal government appeal against a single judge’s ruling made earlier this year in favour of former independent senator Rex Patrick. The self-described “transparency warrior” had challenged an FOI refusal that spanned four years, three attorneys-general and two governments.

The judges’ ruling on Wednesday confirms ministers can no longer assume their documents are automatically protected from FOI access after a ministerial reshuffle or change of government, in a case in which the originating judge had decried the practice of ministers shredding documents upon leaving office.

“The sum total of all of this is that Mark Dreyfus has wasted over $300,000 in taxpayers’ money trying to defend the right of ministers to sweep their dirt under the carpet as they leave their offices,” Patrick said. He said a win for Dreyfus would have enabled future cover-ups.

“The irony of all this is that the document I am still seeking to obtain – a ‘sports rorts’ document from 2020 – was one that Mr Dreyfus called for scrutiny over when Labor was in opposition and he was the shadow attorney-general.” (Click here to read more)

Rex Patrick posted on Twitter on the 26th of September 2024:

“In a MASSIVE win for transparency and accountability, the Full Federal Court has rejected Mark Dreyfus’ argument that ministers should be allowed to shred official docs when they leave office. He’s going to have to feed his secrecy addiction in some other way.”

“Mark Dreyfus has spent over $400K of taxpayer money running a politically disreputable and legally untenable arguments that, if accepted by the Court, would have opened the door wide for future cover ups and corruption. He’s been smashed!” (Click here to see on Twitter)

Rex Patrick posted the below message on Twitter (30/9/24) (Click here to see on Twitter)

Rex Patrick currently runs a Freedom of Information business advisory service called Transparency Warrior.

At the 2022 election, Rex Patrick ran under his own party called the Rex Patrick Team but failed to get re-elected with just over two per cent of the vote.

About a week ago Rex Patrick announced he will run again for the Senate in South Australia at the next federal election as a member of the Jacqui Lambie Party. (Click here to read more)

I think Rex Patrick deserves being returned to the Australian Senate just based on the great work he does with Freedom of Information applications.

What we know

After the 2022 federal election they passed the baton from the Liberal Party to the Labor Party to keep the court case going against Rex Patrick to cover-up Liberal Party corruption.

It shows covering up corruption was a done deal between Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and opposition leader Peter Dutton well before the legislation for the National Anti-Corruption Commission was even drafted so the NACC was always going to be a toothless tiger.

Why the Labor / Liberal deal to cover-up political corruption?

The obvious reason that Anthony Albanese did a deal with Peter Dutton is so that future Labor Party corruption will be covered up by the Liberal Party because Labor have agreed to cover up the Liberal and National Party’s corruption over the 2013 to 2022 period they were in power.

But one other possibly should be explored. The NACC has no restrictions on how far back they can go in time with their investigations which means the NACC could potentially investigate former Labor governments.

There are numerous ministers in government now who were also ministers during the Labor Party government from 2007 to 2013. Such as Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, Penny Wong, Tanya Plibersek and Bill Shorten etc.

So, maybe Labor were worried about corruption during the 2007 to 2013 period being exposed by the NACC so they did a deal with Dutton to cover-up all past corruption.

At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter so much why a deal was done, because it is obvious a deal has been done between Labor and the Liberals to cover-up political corruption which means they are one political party now, the “Uni-Party”.
