Anthony Albanese supports IsraelPrime Minister Anthony Albanese

How long will Prime Minister Anthony Albanese continue to turn a blind eye to Israel’s genocide of the Palestinians?

Israel’s genocide of the Palestinians led to South Africa instituting legal proceedings against Israel on the 29th of December 2023 at the International Court of Justice, but Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has so far refused to acknowledge that genocide is taking place.

The United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees reports “In just over four months in Gaza, there have been more children, more journalists, more medical personnel, and more United Nations staff killed than anywhere in the world during a conflict.” and “The last remaining hospitals are collapsing and doctors amputate children’s limbs without anesthetic, which puts pain at a new level for children, their parents & medical personnel.” (Click here to read more)

Former Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison, who is well known for being a fake Christian and fraudster, has been actively supporting Israel with a visit on the 5th of November 2023 and Morrison recently accused the UN of antisemitism at a Sydney rally against antisemitism. Anytime anyone invites Scott Morrison anywhere to support any issue they are desperate. It is almost certain that Scott Morrison is getting some sort of payment or kickback from Israel.

With Prime Minister Anthony Albanese being weak at best on acknowledging the genocide and former Prime Minister Scott Morrison almost certain to be on Israel’s payroll Australia is embarrassing itself globally.

Anthony Albanese did stand up for the Palestinians when he was a MP as per the below video, but not now.

Australia’s media has largely been silenced by Israel’s lobbing of the major media companies which includes the ABC, Nine Entertainment and News Corp.

The ABC sacked one journalist and their dodgy editorial policy resulted in at least one other journalist resigning because of their pro-Israel agenda.

Nine Entertainment has banned certain journalists from reporting on Gaza, because they signed a letter which supports “ethical reporting on Israel and Palestine”, but not the journalists and Nine management who went on a free junket to Israel paid for by the Israeli government.

Rupert Murdoch supports Israel and Lachlan Murdoch flew to Israel in January 2024 for a meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that was intended to remain a secret. So, all the journalists at News Corp know they have to fall into line and support Israel with News Corp’s standard lies and propaganda.

What I have done below is researched information that is available online which the old Australian media are not reporting about Israel’s genocide of the Palestinians.

Israel is accusing anyone and everyone, who criticise the genocide of Palestinians, of antisemitism. On the 19th of February it was reported “Israel on Sunday condemned Brazil’s president for comparing the war in Gaza to the Holocaust, accusing him of being antisemitic and trivializing the Nazi genocide of European Jews during World War II.”

Speaking to reporters at the African Union summit in Ethiopia, Brazil’s President Lula said that “what is happening in the Gaza Strip and to the Palestinian people hasn’t been seen in any other moment in history. Actually, it did when Hitler decided to kill the Jews.”  (Click here to read more)

A couple of days later Israel’s allegations against Brazilian President Lulu were escalated to being a holocaust denier which seems to be unfounded lies by the Israeli government.

As journalist Glenn Greenwald wrote on Twitter below in response to Israel’s Twitter account accusing Brazilian President Lulu of being a holocaust denier:

Hames killed approximately 1200 people in Israel on the 7th of October 2023 and in response Israel has killed 29,313 as reported by news agency Reuters.

The Time website reports:

In Gaza, the Health Ministry said the death toll had risen to 29,092 since the start of the war, around two-thirds of them women and children. More than 69,000 Palestinians have been wounded, overwhelming the territory’s hospitals, less than half of which are even partially functioning.

With thousands of Palestinians detained by Israel since the war began, an Israeli human rights group reported that Palestinians inside Israeli prisons face daily violence from guards, who enter cells and beat inmates with batons, kicks and fists without provocation in abuse it said could amount to torture. Physicians for Human Rights – Israel said in a report Monday that detainees reported guards urinating on them and forcing them to kiss the Israeli flag and to strip. Prisoners are also held in overcrowded cells and deprived of water for long periods, it said.

The U.N. High Commissioner for Human Rights expressed concern about hundreds of Palestinian women and girls in Israeli detention. It said there were credible reports that at least two were raped, and others “subjected to multiple forms of sexual assault,” including being stripped naked and searched by male officers and being photographed “in degrading circumstances.” (Click here to read more)

Wikipedia says on the South Africa v. Israel (Genocide Convention) International Court of Justice (ICJ) matter:

South Africa’s submission alleges that Israel has committed, and is committing, genocide against Palestinians in the Gaza Strip, in violation of the Genocide Convention, and places the charges in what it describes as the broader context of Israel’s conduct towards Palestinians, including what South Africa described as a 75-year apartheid, 56-year occupation, and 16-year blockade of the Strip.

South Africa has requested that the ICJ render immediate provisional measures of protection by issuing an order to Israel to immediately suspend its military operations in and against Gaza.

Israel’s Foreign Ministry characterized South Africa’s charges as “baseless” and further described South Africa as “functioning as the legal arm” of Hamas. Israel argues that it is conducting a war of self-defense in accordance with international law following the Hamas-led attacks on its territory on 7 October 2023. Approximately 1,200 people, most of them civilians, were killed in these attacks.

Israel points to ongoing firing of missiles at civilian population centers, the kidnapping and holding of Israeli hostages in Gaza, and contends that its war cabinet and military authorities directives show no genocidal intent. While acknowledging the high incidence of civilian casualties, Israel attributes them to Hamas and other militant groups using civilian infrastructure as cover for their military assets and operations. Israel asserts compliance with international law and claims to facilitate humanitarian aid into the territory.

The Court issued an Order in relation to the provisional measures request on 26 January 2024, in which it ordered Israel to take all measures to prevent any acts that could be considered genocidal according to the 1948 Genocide Convention.

The court said “at least some of the acts and omissions alleged by South Africa to have been committed by Israel in Gaza appear to be capable of falling within the provisions of the [Genocide] Convention”. The Court did not order Israel to suspend its military campaign in the Gaza Strip, which South Africa had requested. (Click here to read more)

The proceedings in the South Africa v. Israel (Genocide Convention) are continuing: South Africa told the International Court of Justice (ICJ) in The Hague that Israel is responsible for apartheid against the Palestinians and its occupation is “inherently and fundamentally illegal”. (Click here to read more)

The Twitter account for the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu says “Israel does not recognize the legitimacy of the proceedings” at the International Court of Justice which is odd given Israel sent lawyers to the hearing to make submissions.

Wikipedia says: “In 2019, Netanyahu was indicted on charges of breach of trust, bribery, and fraud, following a three-year investigation, due to which he relinquished all his ministerial posts, except for the position of prime minister. (Click here to read more)

In the below CNN video you will see what is really happening in Gaza and compare that to what you see on the nightly news in Australia.

The Guardian reports that Israel has also killed over 100 children in the occupied West Bank (which is not part of Gaza) since Hamas’s 7 October attack on Israel. (Click here to read more)

Will Prime Minister Anthony Albanese become known as Genocide Albo?

If you do a search on social media you will find the hashtag #GenocideJoe which is a reference to US President and his enabling of the genocide of the Palestinians.

The term #GenocideAlbo is also starting to be used and like many things on social media once it starts to get some traction it could take off and go viral at any time.

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is not responsible for what has transpired in Gaza but he has been very weak in condemning the genocide nor has he or anyone in his government used the word genocide because they are scared of upsetting Israel and the US.

Prime Minister Albanese and his government should remember that John Howard is often called a war criminal because he took Australia to war in Iraq based on the lies of Iraq having weapons of mass destruction. Ignoring genocide is just as bad, if not worse.

Below is federal Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus and federal MP Josh Burns at a rally in 2021 in support of Israel. If they want to support Israel they can and the picture is in 2021 but do they still support Israel in 2023/2024 and the genocide of the Palestinians? (Click here top see the Facebook source for the picture)

Mark Dreyfus and Josh Burns

The SMH reported in 2017:

Former foreign minister Bob Carr has accused his erstwhile cabinet colleague Mark Dreyfus of an extraordinary attempt to “silence” him over his criticism of Israeli settlements on the West Bank. (Click here to read more)

Bob Carr tweeted the below on the 10th of February:

David McBride also tweeted:

If Australia had a strong Prime Minister our government would send a legal team to the International Court of Justice to support South Africa’s genocide case against Israel. That would make a powerful statement on the matter but unfortunately we have a weak government so it won’t happen.

The ABC reports “Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel will keep security control over all Palestinian areas and make reconstruction of Gaza dependent on its demilitarisation.” (Click here to read more) In other words, Israel has invaded Gaza and now own it as far as Benjamin Netanyahu is concerned.

As it currently stands the Genocide of the Palestinians will get worse. Weak governments, like the Australian government, will be exposed by new media for their failure to act as once again the old media are complicit in the crime and the cover-up.

  1. It’s common knowledge that Albonese is weak and spineless and basically a puppet of US, Wong is spineless along with most of Labor cabinet, last Labor PM who stood up for Australian sovereignty ended badly. More important to fall into line with US policy and feed billions into the war effort via US.The proven torture at Guantanamo by CIA is something that Dreyfus and Albonese are both too spineless to reject as unacceptable..all that keeps Albonese there is Dutton.

  2. I’m no apologist for Israel. Much of their treatment of the Palestinians since 1948 (& prior to that the Jewish settlers that arrived there since the 1900”s), has been unforgivable. BUT can some one please tell me HOW they’d expect a country to exist and protect its citizens, when many of the countries around it want nothing more than the total annihilation of the Jewish state? IMHO ALL parties who have inhabited the area in the last three thousand years have as much right to live there in peace. And the ‘wash up’ of both WW1 & WW2 in terms of boundaries & dealing with those of different ethnic backgrounds & religions have caused ongoing issues in Europe & the Middle east since 1918. Most flash-points/wars across the area since 1918 are as a result of these decisions. And NO I’m not Jewish, I’m Christian. But my fathers immediate family who were Polish Jews fled Poland in the early 1900’s bound for London’s East End after ongoing pogroms made life their unsafe. Those in my fathers extended family that didn’t flee left this earth via the chimneys of Auschwitz . My father & his older brothers saw active duty in WW2 he & his younger brother ended up at the end of the war in Cologne which had been levelled by the Allies Firebombs & provided water & shelter for the remaining civilians , (mostly women & children) over the winter of 1945/6 until the German men returned once being discharged from the German Army. In 1948 he met my mother who was NOT Jewish & married in 1950. They settled in North London which has a massive Jewish Diaspora, and where my fathers family moved to .We emigrated to Adelaide in 1973 so I grew just few hours by plane away from the middle east (not a whole world away, which is what Australia is) surrounded my a huge Jewish population .For many years I believed that Israel was totally right, but as I grew older (I’m 67 now) I saw how much land they now occupied & how they treated the Palestinians so now I DONT take sides. I call for peace & I think the “Two State’ solution is the best way forward. And PLEASE if you wish to comment…please give me an answer to my question…..

    • The countries that want to destroy Israel, have signed treaties or normalized relationships with Israel, this is because they know Israel has impunity because of America, I spent many summers working at a new York Jewish summer camp, and if I even mentioned the state of Palestine I was immediately told there is no Palestine. If Israel acted within international law and did not support the illegal settlements and apartheid, you could say that but the fact is Israel is the one ethnically cleansing Palestine and it is disgusting that Ashkenazis can return to Israel with no historical link but religion, while Palestinians can’t even inhabit the lands they own. What are they do?…. doesn’t apply to colonizers and occupiers…just like self defense doesn’t apply.

  3. Jamie Packer owns a beach house in Israel that is right next door to Netanyahu. It is claimed that Packer ‘showers’ the Netanyahu family with favours. It is also believed that witnesses at Netanyahu’s corruption trial claim that Packer is a ‘national risk’ to Israel. Who knows how far that risk is seen to extend?

  4. Calling Albo a weak prime minister is almost a complement. Greedy, short sighted, fearful lap-dog of the US Govt. and their handlers, the global power elite, comes well before merely weak. All the recent governments of us down under have sold off the farm, allowed the hole diggers and extractors of our stuff to profit but pay no tax, yep that three fifths of two thirds of fuck all for decades, and Albo’s mob is no different. We down under have been so completely transmogrified by US cultural imperialism (movies, sports, speech, thought-control aka social media, unhealthy products disguised as food, etc) that any vestiges of critical thought we did have are now extinct.
    Hurrah the 51st. state !

    • I had difficulties restraining myself by calling Albo weak and spineless same as most of his gang, opposition fit the same description as current Government, do fully agree with your more factual description but do restrain myself some as I don’t trust some government agencies that seem to have endless funds to spread fear and have the power to silence dissent and when both sides allow these incompetent agencies to be able to hack our emails, delete emails and amend emails etc, shows Australia is no better at failing with civil liberties than US/UK/ and their spy agencies, then our political leaders are happy to mention Russia and China for their alleged activities infringing on citizens rights… Dutton would have us checking for reds under our bed while he fear mongers over 40 unauthorised boat arrivals when same time Home Affairs admits there are over 100,000 unauthorised arrivals in Australia who arrived by plane…

  5. The challenge for any observer of the appalling situation in Gaza is that Hamas is totally assimilated in Palestinian society and has been since their takeover in 2007.
Hamas is a proxy force for Iran. Iran where despots rule, inflicting their ideology on women, gays and anyone, particularly from the left (those not already in jail or dead), who disagrees to any extent with their rule.
Hamas is a terrorist organisation that includes many criminal elements as well as those remnants of Isis and other fanatical organisations. Definitely not nice people and all of them committed to the absolute destruction of Israel, both a Jewish and Arab State.
Hamas is now so integrated in Gaza that it has been able to build an extensive tunnel system, utilising wherever possible public facilities like hospitals and schools to hide its activities. Hamas soldiers wear civilian clothes and have no problem in forcing women and children to shield their war efforts.
Yet via very clever propaganda Hamas is winning the hearts and minds struggle in the West, extraordinarily those on the left who should be totally condemning them.

Israel’s behavior towards Palestinians should of course be condemned, there is a litany of occasions where innocents have killed or displaced from their homes. But there are also daily acts of aggression on Israel from Palestinians that should be taken to account in the context that Hamas and Hezbollah main objective is to rid the Middle east of Israel.

As Ms. Chadwick writes, how do they expect a country to exist and protect its citizens, when Iran and its proxies seek the total annihilation of the Jewish state?

    • Mike’r and Ms Chadwick, you are regurgitating Zionist lies and propaganda through out your responses.

I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt and perhaps you have not read widely enough and have a eschewed view of reality.

You need to read about the day to day realities and personal impact on Palestinians (of all faith) for the past 75 years of occupation of Palestine and 18 year blockade of Gaza and sincere ask yourself how would I react if this was happening to me and my family for generations?

With regards to Israel’s status in the Middle East, most of the surrounding Arab countries have peace treaties or normalisation agreements with or proposed with Israel. Egypt, Jordan, UAE, Qatar, Saudi Arabia to name a few. Even Hamas has since 2017 rescinded its original policy of the annihilation of Israel to accept a Jewish state based on 1967 borders without formally recognising Israel.

No once can condemn the killing of innocent civilians, and even though under International law an occupied people are allowed to use armed resistance against an occupier, the killing and harming of any innocent civilians on Oct 7 by Hamas or any other groups or individuals is the be condemned outright.

The issue has always been and always will be Zionism. The Arab and Muslim people don’t have an issue with Jews and Judaism. In fact history shows that it was Arabs and Muslims who have constantly protected Jews from persecution.

Please read more critically and learn true facts and not the Zionist lies that have been exposed as propaganda and falsehoods time and time again.

The biggest irony is that the biggest threat to Israel and Jewish people everywhere is Zionism. Many people, including many from the Jewish community are starting to realise this. The recently established Jewish Council Australia – https://www.jewishcouncil.com.au/ – is a good starting point on your journey of opening your heart and mind to greater understanding beyond the Zionist propaganda and it’s enablers in the Western mainstream media and politicians.

    • Hamas didn’t take Israeli land by force , Hamas didn’t stop Israel from being a state, Hamas is a terrorist organization, however if they were Israeli or an ally of the U.S.A they would be called resistance or freedom fighters. Israel doesn’t believe Palestine exists and wants all the land from the river to the Sea to be under Jewish sovereignty, while the Palestinians want it to be free, one is ok and one is supporting terrorism…only Israel is actually doing what they say.

  6. Just as the Holocaust is rightfully remembered so will the genocide committed by Israel and its allies against the State of Palestine and its people be remembered for centuries to come.

    • Mark Emerson, what you write is rather pointless, while we still have time to save the rest of the poor souls.

  7. Fully agree with the Brazilian President. There is no doubt that Netanyahu’s war against Gazan children and civilians is no different to the Nazi treatment of Jews since the mid 1930’s. To Hitler’s death.
I am saying this as the child of a Jewish father who was fortunate to have British people who knew what was happening in Germany pay his passage to Australia in 1938.
His parents, Polish origin, were deported just across the border into Poland, about 3 weeks after my father arrived in Sydney. And were killed in an unknown (as yet by me ) concentration camp in 1943.

I am disgusted, and my father would have been too, about the callousness of Netanyahu and that Albanese who effectively supports his genocide. And that Senator Wong cut food supplies to the children and civilians in Gaza. Has she changed her mind?

The Palestinians are in this situation due to the Zionist’s in 1948 evicting over 700,000 Palestinians who were living in their land, their ancestors had for decades and centuries. When the religious State of Israel was proclaimed by the USA. Gaza is an outdoor prison, totally reliant on the Israelis for food, fuel water, and that has been tolerated by the US and western allies for far too long.

    This has never been OK.

Israel has protected themselves very well. For many decades have crushed any Palestinian uprising.
But when the Israelis actively support killing, ethnic cleansing, apartheid of the Palestinians, as they have since 1948, they can’t expect life always to be in their favour.
A terrorist for one group is a freedom fighter for another.

And the Israeli’s use the term antisemetic to describe anyone who disagrees with their actions. Looking for sympathy.

People who support the Palestinians are anti Israel. That gives a clearer understanding of what is happening.

The Israeli PM Netanyahu is promoting the killing and starving of children and adults in Gaza. Genocide.

As well as supporting Israeli settlers killing and advancing in the West Bank.

Killing and suppressing Hamas will not stop terrorist attacked in Israel. Or on Israeli citizens outside Israel.

Someone above mentioned Murdoch’s oil interests in the region. Plus other points.
    Albanese is a weak b…..

  8. Yes indeed, IMHO, former Prime Minister Scott Morrison, apart from being a fake christian and fraudster, definitely was and continues to be COIN OPERATED.
His mentality and over arching prime objective is that of a typical car salesman – a quick sale and a commission. Doesn’t matter if is a contract, a policy or something old fashioned like $$$. Also, doesn’t matter at whose expense or misfortune.

The current Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is unfortunately no different at all IMHO, BUT his currency is far far more complex and far more expensive and it is at the expense of the trust of the thinking Australian public.

In this specific matter, they both are no different. Australia will forever, never be able to discard the shame of this brutal stance in respect to the death and destruction in the Gaza and the West Bank.

I feel a great deal of shame.

  9. At the severe risk of cancellation, can I pose the question, at what historical point does the Holocaust stop giving Israel the right to behave as it wants without regard to the opinions of the rest of the world? The pending invasion of Rafah seems likely to lead to an appalling slaughter, and many world leaders have tried and failed to influence Prime Minister Netanyahu, who places his personal political position above all other considerations. Surely this cannot be condoned or allowed to continue. There must be another way to rid the Palestinian people of the odious Hamas.
