Scott Morrison has started popping up again in the media over the last week or so which can only damage Peter Dutton’s chances of becoming Prime Minister at the federal election which is due by May 2025.
I doubt that Peter Dutton and the Liberals are happy about Morrison’s reappearance in the media so close to the federal election.
But knowing how Scott Morrison only ever thinks of himself his latest media appearances are definitely an attempt by him to position himself to cash in if the Liberal Party / National Party coalition do form government after the election.
Below is a video I published (22/2/25) on this topic:
(Click here to watch the above video on the Kangaroo Court of Australia YouTube channel)
We’ll have a closer look at Morrison in a minute, but firstly it is worth noting that Barnaby Joyce has been silenced by the National Party for the federal election because they regard him as a liability.
On the 8th of February the SMH published an article titled: “‘Barnaby rule’ hides former deputy PM in his seat” which starts off:
The Nationals plan to hide former party leader Barnaby Joyce during the election campaign with a new rule effectively barring him from conducting political trips outside his electorate even as the Coalition risks losing seats to rebel MPs.
One senior National source familiar with the rationale behind the rule confirmed it was in part designed to enforce discipline on Joyce.
“Women didn’t trust us at the last election and Barnaby was a key reason for that. Why would we have him in seats where he hurts us?” they said. (Click here to read more)
Below are some of the recent media reports that Scott Morrison has shown up in:
1st of January 2025 – The Guardian / SMH – “Scott Morrison rings in the New Year with Donald Trump at Mar-a-Lago resort” (Click here to read more)
14th of February 2025 – SMH – “Scott Morrison reveals he still meets Trump, spills his theory on COVID origins” which says:
“In a rare interview, Morrison – told New Zealand TV program Q+A with Jack Tame” (Click here to read more)
19th of February 2025 – AFR – “Dutton is not playing Trump card, Morrison says” which says”
“I’m sure he has, as I do, many sympathies with some of Trump’s objectives,” Morrison told the Australian Financial Review in London, where he was attending a conservative political convention called the Alliance for Responsible Citizenship. (Click here to read more)
19th of February 2025 – SMH – “Scott Morrison still headed for outer space” which says:
Along with the New Year’s Eve appearance at Mar-a-Lago and guest spots on random kiwi podcasts, Morrison is busy juggling seven different board/advisory-type roles. That includes his job as chair of Space Centre Australia, the company that is totally going to build a spaceport on the Cape York Peninsula. One day.
As CBD reported last year, SCA chief executive James Palmer has a slightly bumpy past business record, with one of his previous companies going into liquidation owing creditors around $800,000. None of this deterred ScoMo from jumping into the cockpit with him, and a few months on, he hasn’t lost sight of the stars. (Click here to read more)
Time for other political parties and independents to take advantage of Scott Morrison’s re-emergence?
Other political parties should think about running ads with slogans like “A vote for Peter Dutton is a vote for Scott Morrison” or “Will a vote for Peter Dutton see the return Scott Morrison?”.
Scott Morrison is very disliked by voters and any ads suggesting that he could make a comeback either by being parachuted onto government boards or maybe as US Ambassador will turn off voters.
Scott Morrison’s recent media exposure is certainly the start of a planned campaign to rehabilitate his reputation.
Scott Morrison is one of those rare politicians who is disliked equally by all voters and politicians on all sides including his own Liberal Party and their supporters. Remember, “Scott Morrison’s farewell Shire dinner canned amid lack of RSVPs“.
When voters think of Scott Morrison, they instantly think about everything that is wrong with politics and that is something other parties should take advantage of during the federal election campaign now that Morrison is back in the media.

Don’t forget the NACC is now going to be investigating the Robot Debt people and ScoMo is one of them.
I published a video on it a few days ago titled “Scott Morrison’s Robodebt protection by the NACC set to continue” here: https://youtu.be/zjuYa70tZnk
I read Rick Mortons, “Mean Streak”, about the Robo-Debt “Crime of the Century” and it lists whom was responsible and also who gave misleading and ridiculous evidence at the RC, everyone at the trial knows full well who’s the most guilty. I noticed at the end on page 443, that Morton stated that those involved were military and religious fundamentalists and that these people always tend to protect themselves and their fundamentalist franchises, “The greater organism”. If you allow people like this into Govt and the public service, it’s all too easy for them to protect that greater organism. Each has the capacity to do great harm, they have a habit of ruining the people that try to fight back? There’s one thing these cults, sects and code bound groups have in common above all else, they fear the sufficiently motivated individual.
I’m finding a number of the groups the Liberal Party and fossil fuel funded such as ‘Responsible Future…. ‘ Against Windfarms ‘. An astroturfing fake grassroots group- and The group you referred to : Alliance for Responsible Citizenship: ironically carry the word ‘responsible.
This is the warning word about who really is behind the group. Morrison/Dutton mob and lobbyists who are anything but responsible in caring for the future of ordinary people
Never believe that lobbyists work only on one side of politics. Their attention is given to whoever holds the narrative and can deliver believable deception via the Government, MSM, bureaucrats celebrities, grassroots organisations, corporations and anyone in the public eye. Much like the previous governments, our current government is taking full advantage of any lobbyist that comes their way and now it is those that consider renewable energy to be the answer to many problems. Renewables are the new money spinner for those who are in the position to capitalise, and this includes politicians and their parties. Never believe the government are concerned for the safety, or welfare of its constituents.
“Scott Morrison’s ghost will haunt Peter Dutton at the federal election” As it should. A Trump-emboldened Dutton would be even worse, so in the land of the short memory, I hope Scott Morrison’s ghost is seen everywhere.
This is my take based on the facts in this, another great article by KCA.
I cannot however remain totally serious, after years of enduring these two duplicitous characters.
The Catastrophic Double Act: Scum Mo & Potato Dud
In the political sewer of Australia, two names fester like an unflushed toilet – Scum Mo (“I-Don’t-Hold-a-Hose” Moron-sin) and Potato Dud (“Angry-Egg” Duhhtton). One’s a self-serving charlatan, the other a charisma vacuum with the warmth of a detention centre fence – together, they are the Coalition’s rotting baggage.
Scum Mo, the ghost of incompetence past, is slithering back into public view, fresh from Mar-a-Lago bootlicking sessions with Trump and delusions of political resurrection. The man who secretly appointed himself to half the ministries, abandoned the country mid-crisis, and marketed coal like a used-car salesman now wants back in – probably as US Ambassador or CEO of a dodgy spaceport that will never exist.
Meanwhile, Potato Dud, the ex-Queensland cop famous for failing to solve crime, is leading the opposition into the abyss. He’s still best remembered for locking up refugee kids, skipping the Apology to the Stolen Generations, and mocking drowning Pacific nations. Now, he’s trying to rebrand as “electable” – but with the warmth of a brick and the appeal of a tax audit, he’s one smirk away from scaring the nation into another landslide loss.
SO, THE WARNING:
In my honest opinion, a vote for Potato Dud is not just a vote for his lifeless, dead-eyed rule – it’s an open invitation for Scum Mo to slither back in, whispering in the shadows, plotting his next power grab like a washed-up televangelist peddling salvation to fools.
If Australians are reckless enough to fall for this grift, brace for impact: a Coalition government dripping in deception, corruption, and outright disdain for the people they claim to serve. Your hard-earned taxes will vanish into crony contracts, your freedoms will be eroded by secrecy and authoritarianism, and your future will be gambled away by men who treat leadership as a personal ATM.
THIS IS NOT A DRILL:
Again, in my honest opinion, if these two parasites are given even a shred of power, they will hollow out the country, suck it dry, and leave behind a scorched-earth wasteland of lies, incompetence, and suffering – before slinking off to cushy foreign jobs, laughing at the destruction in their wake.
Fred, I’d say Dutts has all the warmth of a brick in the shade. Bricks in the sun can be quite warm. And that he ain’t.
Well constructed letter, and accurate.
Its up to individual AUSTRALIANS to really make their wishes and presence known to THE parties. No more talk, ACTION needed to have the very best standard of Representatives in Federal (& Other) Parliaments and other associated positions.
The major parties have disgraced themselves for years, new brooms could do a lot of good at this point in time especially.
As a victim of Bio weaponed aerosol in late 1980sì and having the consequential brain problems., to see The List on the Kangaroo Court site here, shows on the site various people holding or held office in Australian society, positions of responsibility and trust who have subverted those positions destroying lifetimes of hard and honest work by their forbears and our Anzacs.
Rally behind those who have the qualities needed for these grave responsibilities and our children and their children, NOT the grifters.
Sticks and stones may break my bones, but names will never hurt me. Childish name calling is pointless.
The mere mention of Morrison or Joyce’s name is enough to turn off any informed voters. But just take a look at this deplorable Dutton, whats there to like, his record is a shocker? We get this, “Dutton isn’t really a monster” nonsense? Why does the LNP/Media think they need to write this, “He’s not a monster” distraction?
Take a look at the entire LNP coalition shadow cabinet? “Now there’s a monster”! Can anyone name a single LNP coalition shadowy minister entity, that you would trust in their portfolio, anyone? The only hope the LNP have, is for the media to keep up its disinformation, misinformation, blatant lies and of course the never ending distractions, protecting the LNP from any accountability, any real journalist questions about LNP policies, whatsoever. And now the flood of the mega millions from Palmer added to Rhineharts billionaire cartel, to ramp up the already years long remorseless contrived 24/7 LNP/Media attacks on Albanese and Labor.
Probably the most frightening thing is the fact that the coalition is controlled by both Dutton and Littleproud from the QLD LNP. If you vote Liberal party anywhere in Australia, you’re actually voting for the QLD LNP, now thats enough to scare the hell out of even the most uninformed politically unaware voters in the entire country?
Unfortunately Elbow killed off Labor credibility when he joined in setting up the blind NACC.
Personal game rather than anything for electors.
The Albanese Labor government continuing Scott Morrison’s AUKUS deal, announced without knowledge of Labor Caucus, Labor members, and Australian voters in March 2023, has given Morrison an excellent income stream for life.
Scott Morrison has taken on two jobs in the US private defence sector.
After revealing plans to resign in February, Mr Morrison said he would be joining consulting firm American Global Strategies as non-executive vice chairman.
He will also assume a strategic advisor role with AUKUS investor DYNE Maritime, alongside former US Secretary of State and ex-CIA director Mike Pompeo.
The venture capital company invests in technologies related to the joint security agreement that was orchestrated under Mr Morrison’s leadership.
Morrison is leaving politics to grab his very unfair share of the billions of dollars of public money that he has shovelled into AUKUS.
His plan all along? And supported by the Albanese Labor government.
Pardon my ignorance, but was S Morrison involved in cancelling the Submarine Contract with the French? I do remember 90 million was lost earlier on in this debacle.
Methinks Elbow is also taking a quid out of AUKUS.
He helped set this up by working with Duddley on the NACC
Built to protect crooked politicians and public servants, not electors
Needs to be brought out into the open and sanitised with sunlight.
They are all garbage in the Coalition
“Morrison is busy juggling seven different board/advisory-type roles.”
Has he told them all he has other jobs?
I don’t think Scott Morrison’s ghost will haunt Dutton, nor anybody else, come election time.
