Scott Morrison is one of the 6 people the Robodebt Royal Commission referred to the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) for further investigation for alleged criminal conduct regarding Robodebt.
The ABC’s Phillip Adams interviewed barrister Geoffrey Watson SC, who is also a director at The Centre for Public Integrity, on the 12th of June 2024 regarding the NACC’s refusal to investigate the Robodebt 6.
Two key elements of the Adams / Watson interview were that one of the six was a former cabinet minister and that Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus has the power to immediately release the details and names in the sealed section of the Robodebt Royal Commission report.
I make out the prima facie case below with barrister Geoffrey Watson SC, in the below video, pointing out based on the facts that one of the 6 people must be a former cabinet minister and the evidence that points to the former cabinet minister referred to the NACC being former Prime Minister Scott Morrison.
(Click here to watch the above video on the Kangaroo Court of Australia YouTube channel) (I will also publish another video on this matter on Thursday 20-6-24)
There were 6 former ministers who gave evidence at the Robodebt Royal Commission which were Scott Morrison, Alan Tudge, Stuart Robert, Christian Porter, Marise Payne and Malcolm Turnbull.
Porter, Payne and Turnbull had the least to do with Robodebt and received the least amount of criticism from the Royal Commission so they can be ruled out.
Out of the 3 remaining of Morrison, Tudge and Robert it was Scott Morrison who received the most criticism in the Royal Commission report to the government that was made public.
It must also be noted that “former Coalition ministers Christian Porter, Alan Tudge and Stuart Robert ruling themselves out” publicly from being referred to the NACC by the Robodebt Royal Commission.
But while Scott Morrison has “rejected the Robodebt royal commission’s findings” he has refused to say whether or not he has been referred to the NACC by the Robodebt Royal Commission. (Click here to read more)
And it was only Scott Morrison who gave a detailed rebuttal, although it was under the protection of parliamentary privilege which was probably prudent of Morrison given his propensity to lie.
I published an article on the 8th of July 2023 titled “Scott Morrison adds “perjurer” to his resume after findings of the Robodebt Royal Commission” which starts off:
Former Prime Minister was found to have given “untrue” evidence under oath at the Royal Commission into the Robodebt Scheme which means he can now add perjurer to his long list of crimes.
It is one thing for a politician to be called a liar but another when a Royal Commission finds they gave evidence under oath that was “untrue”. (Click here to read more)
The definition of perjury is “the offence of wilfully telling an untruth or making a misrepresentation under oath.”
The Robodebt Royal Commission also found Scott Morrison “failed to meet his ministerial responsibility to ensure that Cabinet was properly informed about what the proposal actually entailed and to ensure that it was lawful.”
The above I argue is a strong prima facie case that it was Scott Morrison who is the former cabinet minister that the Robodebt Royal Commission referred to the NACC.
This article needs to be read in conjunction with my previous article on this matter published on the 9th of June 2024 titled “How NACC Commissioner Paul Brereton hopped in bed with Robodebt Royal Commissioner Catherine Holmes to cover-up Robodebt crimes” which starts off:
NACC Commissioner Paul Brereton colluded with Robodebt Royal Commissioner Catherine Holmes to protect the 6 Robodebt criminals who should have faced charges by now.
The NACC released a statement on Thursday (6/5/24), as per below, saying they would not investigate, nor take any action, including against NACC Commissioner Paul Brereton’s good friend Kathryn Campbell, after sitting on the referral for 11 months.
Robodebt Royal Commissioner Catherine Holmes did 2 things that she should have never done, and Paul Brereton went even further with his corrupt conduct. (Click here to read the article)
As I reported last week, “the Inspector of the National Anti-Corruption Commission, Gail Furness SC, announced (13/6/24) that she will investigate the NACC for alleged “corrupt conduct” regarding the Robodebt cover-up” because the NACC has refused the investigate the 6 people that the Robodebt Royal Commission referred to them for investigation.
The reality is that speculation about who, what and when about everyone involved in the “Robodebt 6” cover-up will continue until someone in the government shows some backbone and deals with the matter like it should have been dealt with in the first place. Hopefully that person will be Gail Furness SC, but if it’s not I’ll keep driving the issue.

Thank you, KCA.
Love to see Scomo in prison. Aussie Bob
Shame on all of them.
What we need is a Royal Commission investigation of the Robodebt Royal Commission. And anothery into the knackering of NACC. 🙂 And so life goes on……….
The Australians who were victims of the deliberate callousness of Morrison et al must have justice shown to be done
Look forward to your follow up on this, KCA. The only winners are the legal profession & the accused, who will never be found guilty of their many sins. Many thanks for keeping us all up to date.
Lock him up.
I have just published a follow up video on my YouTube channel here: “Anthony Albanese’s protection racket for Scott Morrison via the NACC exposed” – https://youtu.be/Z6lMaBqG8WY
It blows my mind that the anti corruption committee we so needed is being investigated for corruption..??? When is Albo or some decent moral politician going to stand up, be strong & call out this crap and continuous deceit & hold perjurers & liars to account… And they say the CFMEU & their leader are bad & corrupt ? Same as many pollies they just wear high vis instead of expensive suits… Thanks for your reporting Shane..👍
It would give me a great deal of pleasure to see Morrison tarred and feathered – a punishment meted out in the 19th century to scoundrels like him. He is beyond being shamed, his only recourse is to do more of the same. I feel for his daughters – to have a father like him.
I hereby preface this piece with, in my honest opinion (IMHO):
That bloke Scott Morrison needs some sustained public humiliation. At least a good month, I’d say. Perhaps over the Xmas / New Year period.
Having thought about it, I think the means of stocks and / or pillory are appropriate.
Stocks are distinguished by their restraint of the feet in holes, and pillory with holes for securing the head and hands; come to mind for me.
If that happened, I’d be there in an instant, after a due visit to the produce shop and the local stables.
The damage this man has inflicted on the social and moral fabric of Australian society is immeasurable.
Here you go. Start with this. There’s much more.

Couldn’t agree more Fred. The only thing is most people reference the moral and social harm but forget about the complete economic mess/waste of money.

One wishes that some much-raking fringe journalist could “purloin” (with the help of some pissed off ACCC operatives) the sealed section of the Robodebt report and publish it on the Net. That would really stir things up. Is there a Deep Throat within the ACCC who might be prepared to do this? One can only hope.
