Israel’s complaints against Iran confirm Israel’s war crimes and genocide in Gaza

Israel’s war against Iran is exposing Israel’s war crimes and genocide in Gaza because the spokespeople, politicians and defence personal, for Israel have told so many lies that the lies are catching up with them and the new lies contradict the old lies.

Israel has complained that Iran bombed an Israeli hospital, which is a war crime if true, but they fail to mention that Israel has bombed a hospital in Iran and every hospital in Gaza.

So, based on Israel’s own complaint against Iran, Israel has committed widespread war crimes in Gaza.

It is potentially a huge problem for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu if he is ever arrested for the outstanding arrest warrant for the “war crime of starvation as a method of warfare and the crimes against humanity of murder, persecution, and other inhumane acts during the Gaza war.” (Click here to read more)

A report published on the United Nations website on the 31st of December 2024 says:

GENEVA – A report published today by the UN Human Rights Office found that Israel’s pattern of deadly attacks on and near hospitals in Gaza, and associated combat, pushed the healthcare system to the brink of total collapse, with catastrophic effect on Palestinians’ access to health and medical care. Al Jazeera News published a story (20/6/25) titled: “Israel accused of hypocrisy over hospital attacks amid escalating conflict” as below:

On a Wikipedia page titled “Attacks on health facilities during the Gaza war” it says:

A significant number of attacks on healthcare facilities occurred during the Gaza war. During the first week of the war, there were 94 attacks on health care facilities in Israel and Gaza, killing 29 healthcare workers and injuring 24.

The attacks on healthcare facilities contributed to a severe humanitarian crisis in Gaza. By 30 November, the World Health Organization documented 427 attacks on healthcare in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, resulting in 566 fatalities and 758 injuries.

By February 2024, it was reported that “every hospital in Gaza is either damaged, destroyed, or out of service due to lack of fuel.” By April, WHO had verified 906 attacks on healthcare in Gaza, the West Bank, Israel, and Lebanon.

As of June 2024, according to WHO, Israel has attacked 464 health care facilities, killed 727 health care workers, injured 933 health care workers, and damaged or destroyed 113 ambulances.

Each side has been accused of committing war crimes in their attacks. CNN quoted the ICRC saying that “hospitals are given special protection under international humanitarian law in a time of war, but if militants store weapons there, or use them as a base of fire, then that protection falls away”.

Human Rights Watch stated, “The Israeli government has put forward no evidence that would justify stripping hospitals of their special protections.”

In December 2024, Andrew Cayley of the International Criminal Court said that Israeli claims about Hamas use of hospitals are “grossly exaggerated”.

On 13 March 2025, a United Nations investigation concluded that Israel has committed genocidal acts in Gaza by systematically destroying its reproductive healthcare facilities. (Click here to read more)

Israel’s lies about Iran’s nuclear weapons

Israel, and the US, have failed to produce any evidence that Iran has a nuclear weapons program.

In fact, “Tulsi Gabbard, the US director of national intelligence, delivered a concise verdict during congressional testimony this March (2025): the intelligence community “continues to assess that Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and supreme leader Khomeini [sic] has not authorized the nuclear weapons program that he suspended in 2003”.”

“Donald Trump swatted aside the assessment from the official that he handpicked to deliver him information from 18 US intelligence agencies. “I don’t care what she said,” said Trump. “I think they were very close to having one.”” (Click here to read more)

Under pressure from Donald Trump, Tulsi Gabbard is now claiming “her evidence to Congress has been misinterpreted”. (Click here to read more)

It sounds like the Iraq weapons of mass destruction lie all over again:

In the early 2000s, U.S. president George W. Bush and British prime minister Tony Blair both falsely asserted that Saddam’s weapons programs were still active and large stockpiles of WMD were hidden in Iraq.

Despite this, Bush asserted peaceful measures could not disarm Iraq and launched the Iraq War.

A year later, the U.S. Senate released its Report of Pre-war Intelligence on Iraq which concluded that many of the pre-war statements about Iraqi WMD were not supported by the underlying intelligence. (Click here to read more)

The below video is 54 seconds long and shows Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, over a 30-year period, claiming Iran is close to having nuclear weapons.

Old media catching up with social media

The old media have largely been pro-Israel in their reporting of the Israel’s genocide in Gaza. Their failure to use the word genocide is one example of their pro-Israel reporting.

But their reporting on Israel’s attack on Iran seems a bit more balanced and that might be because of Israel’s hypocrisy playing the victims and asking for sympathy when they have been, and still are, killing Palestinians daily.

Australian politicians and their stance of the matter

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong have been doing little more than pushing the Israeli and US propaganda on the war and genocide with a few minor exceptions.

The SMH reported: “Iran must stop its nuclear weapons program to seize an opening for peace created by US President Donald Trump’s two-week deadline to decide whether to strike the country, Foreign Minister Penny Wong told her US counterpart Marco Rubio overnight.”

What garbage, as if anyone in the US government is listening to anything Penny Wong has to say about the matter. And why does Penny Wong leak that to the media? To keep Israel happy?

Why didn’t Penny Wong ask “her US counterpart Marco Rubio” to get Israel to stop bombing Iran and killing people in Gaza? And if Israel won’t stop the US should stop giving Israel the weapons they are using to commit the war crimes and genocide.

Whether or not Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is ever arrested and tried for war crimes is one issue. But what is telling is the politicians who still support Benjamin Netanyahu such as almost all of the federal Labor, Liberal and National Party MP’s and Senators.

  1. I see ABC Newsletter is pushing the idea that Iran does have facilities designed to produce nuclear weapons. No actual proof though.

As for war crimes. Our own government has feebly attempted to pull the wool over our eyes about Israel’s war crimes. They only talk about Hamas’ war crimes/refuse to admit Israel is committing them. They’ve continued to allow Australians to visit Israel and is now putting defence personnel’s lives at risk, attempting to rescue them. Leave them there, I say.

There is no doubt our own government is complicit in this genocide, which is unforgivable. Sadly, they’ve been rewarded by our electoral system, by being gifted another 3 years in power, simply because Albanese isn’t Peter Dutton. What a mess.

We must not allow history be altered to lessen their crimes.

  2. History repeats itself, WMD and lies told by Howard, the same PM who was classified as ‘that lying little rodent’ by his own AG Hon George Brandis, moving onto Albonese to deny any Australian business supplies military equipment to Israel. DPM Marles is behold to US as is PM Albonese and FM Wong, all three happily sell Australian sovernity down the drain, handle the truth carelessly and prepared to commit Australia to any war as directed by their masters in Washington. These three warmongers lack any credibility and on par with Howard. Telling lies comes naturally to them and eager to send Australian troops into any war zone at the direction of the nut job in the White House.

  3. Iran has plenty of oil & gas so why it needs a nuclear enrichment programme is beyond me!
And why bury it down the throat of a mountain ?
I notice Australia’s Lucas Heights is above sea level….. as for bombing hospitals that’s a disgrace no matter what side you take, but putting military installations under a hospital is sick, very sick!
Iran always reminds me of what it would be like if Italy was run by the Pope plus the army so a change is needed there— I saw some beautiful Iranian women before the revolution when I was there buying Caviar ( Beluga of course) …. best in the world!

    • “Iran has plenty of oil & gas so why it needs a nuclear enrichment programme is beyond me!” One reason could be that they take climate change seriously. “And why bury it down the throat of a mountain ?” So that the United States of Israel doesn’t immediately bomb it out of existence? But what if Iran was intending to build a nuclear bomb, as you seem to be implying? What right have the Western powers to forbid them from doing that? So far there are nine states that possess nuclear weapons (USA, Britain, France, Israel, India, Pakistan, Russia, China and North Korea), with another four who used to have them (South Africa, Belarus, Kazakhstan and Ukraine). The only country that has ever used one aggressively is the USA, so maybe it is the one country that shouldn’t be allowed to have one.

  4. I enjoy over the years what you have exposed, and so much is probably credible. However, in terms of the Israeli Arab conflict, you need to get back to basics. Arabs have remained dissatisfied with Israeli presence in what they view as their land. Arabs have proclaimed the elimination of Jewry, and over the decades, they have made significant efforts to eliminate Jews. Iran, in particular, has armed insurgents and nations in this attempt to eliminate Jews. The world now complains when Israel instead of defending repeatedly, finally makes an attempt at excising this chancre against its people and nation.

  5. Jewish fundamentalists, Islamic fundamentalists, Christian fundamentalists, whom are all fundamentally crazy and corrupted beyond all judicial and rational constraints! The children forcibly Indoctrinated and poisoned from birth by the evil old men of religion. They’ve got their fundamentalist blood lust up and there’s no rational way of stopping what they’re capable of, history has proven for millennia.
Now with modern weapons, its wholesale carnage. A new 3 way, “Gott Mitt Uns”!
Let’s just hope there’s enough Atheist survivors, fundamentally sane enough to pick up the pieces left from when these fanatics have finished their latest slaughter of the innocents, if there is anything left to pick up, that is?
Even some of Trumps servile MAGA slave cult faction, are questioning the Project 2025 Christian fundamentalist faction, maybe there’s a split beginning already?
The question is, “Is Trump going to blow himself up, along with this whole MAGA scam, for these fundamentalist losers?”
Two weeks of golf and we may get to find out?

  6. What they don’t tell you is that the hospital which was damaged was right between two military targets. One on either side. It was the military targets which were hit, causing collateral damage to the hospital.

Which then begs the question: why were military assets put right next to a hospital? To use it as a shield? To get propaganda value when the military targets are hit? Those people are famous for using the “victim” card… they are professionals in staging (they own Hollywood by the way).

  7. OK, you’ve swallowed the narrative whole, haven’t you? The middle east situation is a lot more complicated than a whole lot of arabs wanting to kill jews just because they don’t like jews. The political circumstances of the whole region have been manipulated by western energy interests for decades, including the ‘giving’ of Palestine to the Zionists as a jewish homeland (entailing the progressive elimination of the Palestinians over the subsequent 77 years) – with the result that some of these middle eastern nations have reacted accordingly. By the way, Iranians are not arabs.

    • Thank you for saying that. I’m an Iranian living in Europe. Before I left Iran I never knew who brained washed people are in the west. We’re not what the western media shows. The same narrative of Muslims that are terrorists and we need to save them by putting bombs over their heads and put sanctions on their countries and save them from the evil who is governing them!!! Nobody makes peace by bombs…Muslims are not terrorists and they don’t hate Jewish people and we don’t need any western government to help us

  8. Thanks Dave for clearing up Iranians are not Arabs. I am sick of hearing the same old thing ad nauseum from power-hungry old white blokes, the same sort of blokes who gathered around a room with a map and pen in 1946 and deceided how to carve up countries. The same old blokes who started the rhetoric that if Jews were the ultimate victims (let’s forget about the gypsies who lost a greater % of their population in the Holocaust than the Jews did) then we must never support their portrayal as perpetrators because that would be racist, wouldn’t it? And now here we are with WMD version 2. Clearly none of these old white blokes learn from history – it will end in tears, and much much worse for the people whose lives the old white blokes are blithely deceiding the fate of. Trumpet has already said he doesn’t believe the advice of his Government of zero evidence that Iran is building up a nuclear weaponary . As we all know, truth and facts become LIES in Trumpdon and Australia just nods away. Thanks for your article.

  9. I love it how right wingers reckon Israelis have a right to their part of the Middle East because it was theirs in ancient times. When asked if the same principle should apply in Australasia and the Americas they are lost for words.

  10. Today’s US attack upon Iran was to be expected. Iran has extensive missile resources and has been firing on Israel using older stocks which have required Israel to use up more expensive intercept missiles which are running out. As of late Iran has started firing its more sophisticated missiles and Israel knows it can’t defend itself. The only way forward is to bring the US in against Iran which is what has happened. There’s lots of views on various outcomes but none of those outcomes are good for the world as a whole. We are being lead by lunatics.

  11. Hey Richard …
To be precise and grounded in historical fact and international law:

The British, as the administrative power under the League of Nations Mandate after World War I, did not have a legitimate right to transfer or promise Palestinian land, which was not theirs to give. Their 1917 Balfour Declaration supported establishing a Jewish national home in Palestine without consulting the indigenous Arab population, thereby undermining the principle of self-determination for the majority population.

Many observers and legal experts consider that a significant portion of the land claimed by Israel was subsequently acquired through war, displacement, and the expropriation of Palestinian property, particularly during and after the 1948 Nakba. Under international law – including United Nations resolutions and the Fourth Geneva Convention – much of this land is regarded as occupied or illegally annexed. As such, it is widely viewed as territory taken without the consent of its original inhabitants.

    It’s STOLEN, RICHARD!

  12. Now on the article … Thanks KCA!

Let’s stop pretending this is complicated. The truth is brutal, obvious, and rotting in plain sight – and those in power are betting you won’t say it out loud.

Israel’s propaganda just collapsed under the weight of its own hypocrisy – and Australia’s politicians are covered in the fallout.

Israel cries that Iran bombed a hospital – but by their own measure, Israel has bombed every single hospital in Gaza. Hundreds of attacks. Hundreds of medics killed. Healthcare system obliterated. Starvation as a method of war. The UN calls it catastrophic. The ICC calls it criminal.

If bombing hospitals is a war crime when Iran does it, what exactly are Israel’s actions?

Meanwhile, Israel waves the nuclear scarecrow at Iran – the same tired fiction. No proof. U.S. intelligence says Iran stopped its weapons program twenty years ago. But that hasn’t stopped the Western war chorus, or Australia’s cowardly echo chamber.

Albanese, Wong, Marles – you’ve become warmongering ventriloquist dolls, mouthing U.S. and Israeli propaganda while children rot in rubble and hospitals burn.

You remain silent as genocide unfolds in real time.
You feed the lie that Israel’s war is “defensive.”

You are not neutral. You are not careful. You are not leaders. You are apologists for slaughter.

And the Liberals are no better – Andrew Hastie drools over conflict like a B-grade action figure cosplaying as Churchill. He sells the Double Reds to school kids and cheers for a military-industrial feeding frenzy.

Labor waves flags. The Coalition bangs drums. And neither has the spine to say what most of the world already knows: Israel has crossed every legal and moral line. Gaza is being erased. And Australia is complicit.

History won’t forget who stood by and nodded.
And neither will those buried beneath the rubble, nor the generation that rises from it.

  13. The ‘blindness ‘ & silence of our pollies in Australia re the genocide by Israeli Zionists being carried out before our eyes daily is sickening

  14. War is state-sponsored terrorism. Or if not “terrorism,” then legally condoned killing. War-time killing is not considered to be a crime of “murder” because states claim a power (currently considered legal) to wage war. Under humanitarian law, war is meant to be used for self-defense and its hard to define as it takes two countries to wager war.
In this case hopefully humanitarian law is meant to stop war for the sake of saving humanity.

Nations have wagered war over the past centuries. Governments can easily wage wars because of the legal production, sale, distribution, and use of weapons.
The only way to stop wars is to outlaw weaponisation, by making the production of weapons illegal and unprofitable.

The world needs to outlaw weaponisation and prevent governments and corporations from profiting off death and destruction. It needs to make it economically, socially, and politically untenable. World war laws against war, should establish financial and criminal penalties against individuals, companies and governments that make weapons. This would require a not to simply embargo on arms, but a halt to the production of all new weapons and the dismantling of current weapons.

Sounds good, but will never happen, wars will continue to the end of time possibly by humanities own hands.

  15. Hear hear, fredfromoz.

At least for the moment we have dodged the particular bullet of a hawkish Coalition Govt whose ideological/historical idiocies include dragging oz into membership of the Coalition of the Willing in 2003.

    That sure worked well.

    https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2025/jun/20/america-made-a-catastrophic-mistake-with-the-iraq-war-is-it-about-to-repeat-it-in-iran

One can only trust that the Labor mediocrities elected by the nation as a bulwark against this Trumpist madness can muster sufficient party unity and political cojones to assume the measured diplomacy appropriate to an aspiring sovereign state at this critical moment.

  16. The ignorance of the history of the Middle East displayed by many correspondents is both sad and reprehensible. Jews have lived in the region for thousands of years, as have Arabs and other ethnicities. Some may recall that the Jews executed Jesus Christ in Jerusalem some two thousand years ago, and they haven’t left the city. So the Jews have equal rights to claim to be indigenous.
In 1948 the State of Israel agreed that there should be two States, Israel and Palestine, The Palestinians, supported by Arab States, rejected the concept on the grounds that Israel was an illegitimate entity, and that it should be annihilated!
After losing various wars, most Arab States agreed that Israel had a right to exist, but not Iran, under its Shia theocracy.
Iran has funded its proxy terrorist armies, Hezbullah, Hamas, Houtis, and various Islamic groups with the sole purpose to destroy Israel.
Israel’s response to October 7th has been vengeful and vindictive, but they are fighting to retain their very lives and state. There is no doubt that Israel encouraged President Trump to bomb Iran’s nuclear facilities, and will pursue regime change, likely for better or worse.
However, if Australia were threatened every day with destruction by our neighbours, who fired rockets into our homes, it is likely that we would not be keen on appeasement or exercise restraint when we reached the end of our tether!

  17. From a staunch supporter of the ALP for over 50 years,
When it comes to crawling to the US and the genocidal, eviln State of Israel, the piss-weak Albanese, together with the ALP’s “good to be with you” Wong, are so far up the US and Israel’s back passage they’re bumping into like-minded far right wing war moungerers of the Coalition.
Albanese and his pro-US, pro-Israel, pro-genocide government are 100% complicit in the US/Israel war crimes and crimes against humanity, including genocide.
