Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong has been exposed telling lies in the Senate pushing propaganda on behalf of the US and Israel to justify their illegal war in Iran.
Penny Wong told the Senate, as per the below video, the War did not start last Saturday (28/2/26) and then she goes on a rambling speech implying Iran started the war.
There can be no doubt that Penny Wong knows the war is illegal because when questioned about the war as per the below video, Senator Larissa Waters says twice the war is illegal, and Penny Wong fails to challenge the “illegal war” claim which she had an obligation to do if it was untrue.

The first video (1st of March 2026), as below, Penny Wong said on the ABC it was up to the US and Israel to justify the legality of the war, but Australia supports the war. If Australia supports the war Australian politicians should be able to tell us what the legal basis for the war is.
The second video, as below, is US Senator Elizabeth Warren (4th of March 2026), after a classified briefing on Iran, pointing out the war is illegal and Donald Trump has no plan for the war.
US Senator Elizabeth Warren is in the Democratic Party, so you would expect her to criticise Donald Trump but what she says is consistent with many legal experts who say the war is illegal.
The third video, as below, is Penny Wong in the Senate on the 4th of March trying to justify the war with lies which contradicts what she said in the first video on the 1st of March 2026.
So, why did Penny Wong change her mind from the 1st of March 2026 when she said it was up to the US and Israel to justify the legality of the Iran war to the 4th of March, as per the above video, where she is trying to justify the legality of the war in the Australian Senate.
Who tapped Penny Wong on the shoulder and told her to push propaganda on behalf of the US and Israel?

It’s not that the LABOR government does not have the support of all Australians – something not possible in a Parliamentary democracy in any event – it is that Labor foreign policy in this appalling instance has lost support amongst those who voted them into power in a landslide victory.

‘who tapped Penny Wong on the shoulder….’. Israel. Australian Zionist Jeremy Leibler invited Israel President Herzog after the Bondi deaths to comfort the Jewish people affected. Albanese made it a State visit. Herzog also visited ASIO HQ. Leibler believes Australia should support Israel where Australia can, and snub the ICC and the UN.
Since at least 2001 there have been Zionist sponsored visits to Israel for selected people. Minns in 2001, again with Bill Shorten for a future leaders event in 2003 ( from Trove). Neither were politicians at the time. Since then many Labor and Liberal MPs have enjoyed these visits. They come back very loyal to Israel.
I decry all allegations that this war with Iran is “illegal”. How can a panel of already ‘biased’ people decide what is a legal or illegal war.?? Arguing over the benefits and/or non-benefits of this particular war for us westerners is not helpful to the Iranian people. Yes, some have unfortunately perished due to combat but many more perished at the hand of the murderous Islamic Ayatollah … not even an Iranian (Persian) but an Arab… Is this horrendous criminal reign illegal or legal.?? Forget yourselves & your cushy lives for a moment & consider the possible freedom of life & all that means for the long-time oppressed & tortured but now joyously celebrating Iranians. I usually find I must disagree with Penny Wong but on this humanitarian issue of war I totally agree.
The invasion of one country by another is considered an illegal act under contemporary international law. It’s got nothing to do with the benefits such an invasion might bring to either country. As for Khamenei being an Arab: his father was an ethnic Azerbaijani Turk from Khamaneh, his mother was an ethnic Persian from Yazd, and he was born in Mashhad (in Iran). Not sure how this makes him an Arab. Not that this makes any difference anyway – we’ve had at least two prime ministers who were born in Britain to British parents.
Albo and Wong worked out that America is coming out on top in this war.
If it had turned out differently, no doubt there would be furrowed brows and purslipped pronouncements aplenty from Canberra.
Even the British are sending an aircraft carrier, albeit a week too late.

Foreign Minister Penny Wong today announced that Australia will be sending a specialist surveillance aircraft and stocks of air-to-air missiles to the United Arab Emirates following a request from that country. Approximately 85 defence force members will be deployed as part of the assistance package. According to Anthony Albanese Australia is helping defend against “unprovoked attacks” by the Iranian regime and this was not an Australian military action against Iran. This is legalistic baloney. The reality is that the US and Israel initiated military attacks, bombings and assassinations against Iran and the Iranians responded with missile attacks against US military bases in the region. This Australian exercise is not one of UN peace keepers. By providing these forces and materials into this conflict zone the Australian government has directly engaged in defending US military bases and thus becomes a legitimate target of Iranian attacks. They cannot get around this difficulty by simply repeating the US propaganda lie that Iran is the aggressor. It would be a propaganda coup for the US and Israel if our Australian surveillance aircraft was shot out of the sky by Iran.
Our government has absolutely no business sending our military forces, in any capacity, into a complex Middle East conflict not of our making. This is an idiotic and appalling foreign policy decision.

Venezuelan compares to Kharg Island. Just as the Cuban house of cards collapsed with the US capture of the Venezuelan oil fields so too China’s house of cards will collapse after US marines capture and occupy Kharg Island. Kharg Island, Iran’s primary oil export terminal, critical for the country’s economy. It handles a significant portion of Iran’s oil exports, making it central to both domestic revenue and international trade partnerships. Approximately 90% of the oil refined and sold by Iran is exported to China through Kharg Island.
This relationship underscores China’s role as a major player in the Iranian oil market, providing Iran with a vital economic lifeline amid sanctions and trade restrictions imposed by the West. Just as Communist Castro Cuba will most likely become a US protectorate territory like Puerto Rico. In similar fashion should US Marines capture Kharg Island, this will terminate the US/Israeli War against Iran.
Iranians themselves must choose their own government. But loss of Kharg Island will cripple the Iranian economy like as Cubans experienced when Us Troops captured the President Maduro of Venezuela in one day. The collapse of Venezuela’s anti-US government directly impacted the economy of Cuba. Just as the collapse of the Shiite fanatic government of Iran will directly impact the economy of China.

Almost every one of your political claims are based on wrong facts.
Venezuela does not compare to Kharg Island. US Marines are not in a position to capture Kharg Island — their transports would be blown out of the air or the water before they got there. If they did manage to get there they would be going home in body bags. The US has only 50,000 plus marines and other forces for any attack. Iran has over a million men under arms. Donald Trump brags that Iran’s missile supply has been destroyed. Quite the contrary, if you read around. Try Scott Ritter. Col. Douglas MacGregor or Larry C. Johnson to name just a few. Iran has at least 2/3 of its missile supplies still available. Israeli and US bases in the region have supposedly been defended by expensive anti-ballistic missiles and and radar targeting units. They have run out of their defensive missiles and Iran has destroyed most of their radar units. Both Israel and US Gulf State military bases are now subject to daily missile attacks against which they have no defences. This has forced Trump to threaten to attack Iranian civilian infrastructure by carpet bombing — another war crime.
There was never any legal or self defense basis for the Trump administration to conduct military actions against Venezuela, Cuba or Iran. These are all sovereign nations in case it escaped you notice.
Trump and Hegseth speak like murderous mafia dons, with claims that they intend to “bomb Iran back to the stone age.” These are statements of criminal intent and war crimes for which we hanged Nazi generals at the end of WW2. These are murderous criminals with not a fig leaf of credibility.
