PM Anthony Albanese aids and abets Premier Jacinta Allan’s cover up of Victoria’s Big Build $15 billion theft

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is up to his neck helping Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan cover up the $15 billion Big Build fraud and theft by the CFMEU and organised criminals, as per the videos below.

The problem for Anthony Albanese is that his government put the CFMEU into administration in August 2024, with Albanese’s own captain pick Mark Irving KC appointed as boss of the CFMEU, and the fraud and theft by organised crime figures such as Mick Gatto has not stopped.

Sixty Minutes had the latest instalment on the Big Build $15 billion fraud and theft on Sunday night (28/6/26) claiming Mick Gatto is still being corruptly paid $millions, which led to Albanese being asked questions about the matter on Tuesday (30/6/26) during parliament question time as per the below videos.

This article is a follow-up to my article published in August 2026 titled “Anthony Albanese’s fingerprints all over Labor’s $15 billion CFMEU corruption cover-up attempt”, which starts off:

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese has his fingerprints all over the $15 billion CFMEU corruption scandal in Victoria that has already spread to Queensland and will likely spread to other states.

On Wednesday (11/2/26) the SMH reported CFMEU administrator Mark Irving, who was appointed by the Anthony Albanese federal government, was exposed during the week for removing chapters critical of the Victorian Labor Party, in a corruption report that shows $15 billion was extorted from government projects by organised criminals linked to the CFMEU.

Victoria has a $100 billion Big Build project, which is a multi-year investment on transport infrastructure with over 180 major road and rail projects.

“One of Watson’s key claims is that as a result of criminality, the cost of construction on Victorian projects grew by $15 billion, due to corrupt payments linked to the construction union.” (Click here to read more)

The CFMEU has a long history of donating $millions to the Labor Party so there should be an investigation for fraud, theft and money laundering by the Labor Party and the CFMEU as well as an investigation into where the $15 billion has gone. (Click here to read the full article)

In the below video from parliament on Tuesday (30/6/26) Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is asked 3 questions about the CFMEU / Big Build fraud.

Firstly, Liberal Party MP Mary Aldred asks a question which Albanese gives a very short answer to. Secondly, opposition leader Angus Taylor (at the 55-second mark) asks a question and once again Albanese gives a very short answer to it. And thirdly, National Party MP Pat Conaghan (at the 2 minutes 33-second mark) asks a question. (Click anywhere on the below video to watch)

In the above video, Prime Minister Anthony Albanese fails to answer the questions directly and also fails to respond to Mick Gatto still corruptly getting paid $millions, and some of those $millions likely come from federal government grants to Victoria.

Albanese starts his first answer in the above video with, “I, like the Victorian Premier, was opposed to corruption in any form.” We all know that is a lie because Albanese set up a fake National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) in 2023 to hide government corruption, not expose it.

Foreign Affairs Minister Penny Wong, who is a former CFMEU industrial officer, was also asked questions in the Senate on Wednesday (1/7/26) about the CFMEU / Big Build fraud by Liberal Party Senator Jane Hume as per the below video.

Penny Wong also starts her first answer by saying, “The government does not tolerate corruption.”

The problem with Albanese’s and Wong’s statements in the above videos, besides Albanese’s fake NACC, is everyone can see Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan covering up the $15 billion Big Build / CFMEU fraud and theft, and Anthony Albanese and Penny Wong have now been exposed in parliament helping Jacinta Allan with the cover-up.

When political parties are in opposition, their biggest weapon is always shining a light on the government’s failings and corruption.

With the Liberal Party tanking in the polls, they should be driving the Big Build / CFMEU fraud and theft corruption like no tomorrow in the media, as they have nothing to lose. But it might not help because it might also shine a light on Angus Taylor‘s corrupt past.

The question that Albanese, Wong and federal Labor need to answer is how much political skin are they prepared to lose supporting Victorian Premier Jacinta Allan, whose government is widely expected to lose power at the November 2026 state election?

Admin: Thirty-two weeks ago, I launched a campaign with a simple goal: find 200 new monthly supporters so I can keep doing this work as a fully independent journalist, running this website and the YouTube channel without corporate backing or paywalls.

Since then, 189 wonderful people have stepped up and become monthly supporters. That’s huge, thank you!

We’re now at 11 to go.

If you’ve been enjoying the work and aren’t yet supporting monthly, I’d be incredibly grateful if you’d consider joining them. Here’s the situation:

Like most independent journalists, I’m basically a one-person small business. Right now, a lot of us are feeling the squeeze, just like many small businesses and households are. To stay afloat and keep bringing you the reporting I do, I need roughly 200 more people chipping in whatever they can comfortably afford each month.

Anything from $3 to $100 (or whatever works for your budget) makes a real difference. There’s no lock-in, you can cancel or adjust anytime.

If that feels doable for you right now, you can see all the options on the donations page by clicking here.

Your support, whether it’s a monthly donation, a one-time donation, or just sharing the work, is what keeps independent voices like this one alive.

  1. Both Labor and the Coalition seem to have the same attitude towards the Australian people. They are the elected persons; we little people have no right to complain. Albanese in particular treats the electorate with absolute contempt, all the while pretending otherwise. Taylor is currently using trainer wheels, but I’m certain he’ll catch on quickly, if he remains.

  2. I’m hoping that contempt eventuates into people turning against him. He needs to be replaced with a real Labor leader with true Labor values. Do we even remember what they are? Albanese has taken us down the path of Fascism and Neoliberalism. He always had that bent and I had many a conversation about this when he became leader. Many of his front bench are the same.
