Prime Minister Anthony Albanese attacked opposition leader Peter Dutton, over the previous government’s corruption, in parliament on Tuesday (5/11/24), as per the below video, after Dutton asked a stupid question about the Labor government’s “reckless spending” of taxpayers money.
There was a lot of corruption in the previous government for Albanese to use to attack Dutton.
In the below video Albanese raises examples of the “reckless spending” of the previous government such as, “$4 billion to cancel the French submarine deal, $1.8 billion paid to victims of Robodebt, $444 million to the Great Barrier Reef Foundation without a tender process, $660 million on commuter car parks where there was no train stations, $423 million on the Paladin off shore processing contract fraud and $100 million on SportsRorts etc. (Click anywhere on the below video to watch)
But the problem for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese is that he conspired with Peter Dutton to set up a fake National Anti-Corruption Commission to hide all the corruption he used to attack Dutton with in Parliament, and the voters know it.
And Albanese mentions the Coalition’s “$4 billion to cancel the French submarine deal” but Labor has since signed Australia up to pouring $368 billion down the drain on the AUKUS submarine scam.
Rusted on Labor voters thought PM Albanese was great on Tuesday when he attacked Dutton in the above video. But they didn’t realise Albanese was undermining Labor’s chances at the next election by insulting Labor voters who aren’t rusted on, swinging voters and anti-corruption voters.
Every one of the corruption issues Prime Minister Anthony Albanese raises in the above video has been swept under the carpet on Albanese’s and the Labor Party’s watch. So, when Albanese raises those issues he is publicly insulting anti-corruption voters.

Peter Dutton and Anthony Albanese
Corruption and its impact on the 2022 Federal Election
During the 2022 election campaign one of the most powerful weapons Labor had was publicising Liberal / National Party corruption, like Albanese did in the above video, and Labor’s then proposed National Anti-Corruption Commission that Labor claimed would expose that corruption. Now those same issues are a liability for Labor.
Every time Labor highlights Liberal / National Party corruption now they lose votes instead of gaining votes because voters now know Labor’s promise of an independent National Anti-Corruption Commission was a lie.
What we have is a fake NACC designed to cover-up corruption, not expose it.
Corruption and its impact on the 2025 Federal Election
The next Federal Election is due by May 2025 and Labor won’t be able to mention corruption during the campaign because they will lose more votes than they will receive as it reminds voters of the fake NACC Labor set up.
I was pushing Liberal / National Party corruption as a key issue at the last election but this election I will be pushing Labor joining the Liberal / National Party to coverup that corruption with the fake NACC.
I know 1000’s of others will also be promoting the fake NACC as an issue so instead of the anti-corruption movement being a positive for Labor it will be a major negative and will cost Labor votes and likely seats.
Likely result for the 2025 Federal Election
If Anthony Albanese and the Labor Party had set up a real NACC they would be cruising in the polls now knowing they will win the next election easily. Because Liberal / National Party corruption would be in the media daily with all the NACC hearings and police charges.
Instead Albanese and Labor set up a secret fake NACC and the polls point to Labor at least losing majority power and possibly power overall to the Liberal / Nationals.
Anthony Albanese and the Labor Party would rather lose power than do something about government corruption which says a lot.
One can only assume there are things in the past Albanese and Labor want to hide or maybe crimes they want to commit in the future, such as fraud and theft, they want to hide.

Albanese’s pathetic weakness has opened the door to a Dutton government Trump-style campaign and agenda. The weakness of Albanese is now a national disaster. That the NACC is now so completely useless, means that the Coalition will never be held to account because of the way its been set up. Australia has just as many wealthy, far-right thinkers as America by percentage of population. The next election could be a real disaster for Australia, per kind favour the Labor Party!
Totally agree.
One only has to look closely at Labor`s plan to demolish 44 public housing towers in Victoria to see the corruption. No need to mention the scull duggery going on within the legal system?
What happened to the recent suggestion from the Government to release the sealed section from Robodebt? Seems to have already been dropped
While i agree NACC has been knackered, what happened to the push to clear out Morrisons political appointments to key positions and reform of the public service to rid it of the robodebt culture mentality that still seems to infest the PS?
While it was great AAT was cleaned up, what about other agencies like the Ombudsmans Office? In my experience, they just seem to be there to cover up Government bungling
Trust none of them. Remove Honourable from their title.
NACC: Nefarious Activity Concealment Commission
Great work again KCA. This video needs to be shoved in Albos face constantly and pushed to do something about it ! He needs to be asked why he raised these issues and has done nothing about it and why he chooses to do nothing about it ! For Albo not to do anything now would show not only how week he is but what type of person he really is
Leave them with Honourable… it’s an Oxymoron in their case 😊
The only way that I can see the Albanese government salvaging some corruption fighting credibility is to overhaul the NACC starting with the sacking of Paul Brereton and a complete overhaul of the legislation to remove the exceptional circumstances clause in order to make it the transparent NACC that the Labor Party promised. KCA has exposed that the NACC is not independent of government interference with his revelation of FOI NACC requests being replied to by the Attorney Generals office. That is unacceptable and must be fixed quickly. Only with the support of the greens and independents could he get that done before the next federal election thereby possibly avoiding a coalition landslide.
While Robodebt began under the Coalition leadership, it certainly doesn’t spare the current Labor Government. Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and Attorney-General Mark Dreyfus have displayed a definite lack of resolve to publicly name and hold accountable those responsible. Labor’s timid approach to addressing Robodebt’s fallout is a disappointing betrayal of victims’ hope for real justice.
The Robodebt Royal Commission clearly revealed public officials willing to play dumb (not difficult) to save their own skins, cementing a public perception that government institutions prioritise self-preservation over justice. Robodebt was unflinchingly harsh, that saw what unchecked political ambition and bureaucratic cruelty can cost.
Overall, any analysis paints Robodebt as a very dark chapter of Australian governance – a saga of hubris, hypocrisy, and profound injustice, one that the nation should neither forgive nor forget.
I do indeed hope it is not over. There are a number of folk that must be brought before a panel of their peers!
