Anthony Albanese’s smoke and mirrors routine with the truth is out of control

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was exposed this week (10/9/25) locking out Pacific Island journalists, on the Solomon Islands, for a media conference during the Pacific Islands Forum.

That by itself is bad, but when put together with the article I published last week (12/9/25) titled “How Anthony Albanese’s office secretly co-authors media stories for Nine, Seven, Ten and News Corp etc” then the real story of how corrupt Albanese is with controlling and silencing the media is getting close to being wholly exposed.

Albanese obviously didn’t want journalists from Pacific Islands, who aren’t part of his inner circle of Canberra journalists, to be asking tough questions.

In the below video at the 2 minute and 20 seconds mark Albanese is caught lying:

Journalist Stefan Armbruster: Is there a reason why Pacific journalists can’t go to your press conferences?

Anthony Albanese: I have no idea what you’re talking about, mate.

Media Watch: The PM didn’t answer our questions either.

Below is the story on Media Watch on Monday night (15/9/25):

Media Watch have done well the last 2 weeks with exposing Albanese’s scandalous relationship with the media.

The above video shows Albanese locking out journalists who he thinks might ask tough questions and last week Media Watch showed how Albanese’s office is directing what Canberra journalists can and can’t say.

My article last week, which is the start of the prima facie case that is building proving Albanese controls the media worse than Scott Morrison, starts off:

Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was exposed controlling Canberra journalists, to publish his propaganda, on Media Watch on Monday (8/9/25) but that is only half the story.

What is even more disturbing, is that Albanese also controls Australia’s old media CEOs and Directors by keeping them cashed up via the News Media Bargaining Code, which shakes down global tech platforms such as Google and Facebook for hundreds of millions of dollars.

As it currently stands, Anthony Albanese’s office is in effect co-authoring many articles being published, in writing and on TV, via Australia’s old media.

It’s pure political propaganda which is badged with the old media’s logos and then fed to the public as news and there is a paper trail exposed by Media Watch which proves it. (Click here to read the full article)

Below is a video I published on Wednesday titled “Anthony Albanese caught controlling the media, again!!!” which is a must watch as it puts all the pieces together.

Anthony Albanese is a career politician who was first elected 30 year ago in 1996, and it shows as his loyalty is to the Canberra political machine.

Albanese uses his full 30 years of experience in Canberra to manipulate anyone and everything to get what he wants, and that includes manipulating the media to disguise the truth from the voters.

If Prime Minister Anthony Albanese was honest, he wouldn’t need to manipulate the media as the above exposes him doing on a regular basis.

This is only a short article, but it is one of the most important I have written because it contains direct evidence of Anthony Albanese’s smoke and mirrors routine with the truth.

  1. Whoever would have thought Labor would try to out-Tump the Trump administration, but with their secrecy, manipulation of the media, locking up immigrants on Nauru, broken election promises and lies, knackering of the NACC, (and turning it into a pollie protection racket,) support of Zionism and genocide, what else can we think? But Australians are no smarter than Americans, clearly, because Albanese’s popularity remains high, despite all this!. Australia! Get some standards!

    • Alternatives are the problem.
That said, the gutless apparatchik par excellence, Albanese, even given a low bar, is possibly the biggest political disappointment & embarrassment of the last 20 years. The LNP we expect it of. Albeit, they gave us so much more; but Labor and Albanese, we expected at least a modicum of decency, honesty, care, and results. Even more so with his super-majority (which gets back again to the issue of ‘alternatives’), but, as someone said, Albanese is determined to ‘do as little as possible’, just the low-hanging fruit. And even what he is eventually politically forced to do, he always ‘kneecaps’ it (NACC another example par excellence).

I have suggested what we seriously need is a ‘Australian Democrats Party’ again. I would have thought that the current political environment is fantastic for such a thing,

Of course both major parties, in their cosy cabal, and doing everything possible to prevent the rise of any (more) minority parties, corrupt as they are.

      • I agree, but there is already one party that always puts the people and the planet first…Greens. They’re not perfect but a hell of a lot more perfect than the two majors. But Labor and the msm have done a great job of maligning and sidelining them at a time when we need them even more despearately.

    • Agreed Jen. Trouble is there is no difference between a Labor voter and a LNP voter. They are so blind and lazy its not funny.

  2. When Katherine Murphy left the well paid role at the guardian to work in his media team, it was clear she was given that gig for a reason – Albanese could pay her almost anything she wanted to use her media network on his behalf -the price must have been right for her to give up her career and integrity to be his propaganda stooge.

    • The conversation has to be started now for the next election. You can bet the propaganda and financial breadcrumbs will be flying after they all wring their hands over this genocide and climate change.

  3. The standards of journalism now is so biased that most should be called propaganda machines. It is much like the pot calling the kettle black.

  4. This is out of control this needs to be exposed national to stop him from him and his commo hang from controlling this how do we start to get this rolling makes my blood boil over this need to start with the Govenor general who I believe is under control by him need a vote of no confidence full on to get rid of them all

  5. Is it the fault of the journos or is the truth that Aussies just dont care about genocide or european wars? Most ordinary aussies I speak to agree that its disgusting and someone else orta do something about it. I fear that many of them wouldnt really give a damn if we sent trops to help Israel. They get nothing but confusion on Climate change and certainly no real idea of how serious it is. Perhaps they really “couldnt take the truth” THey deserve the chance to be educated enough to make a genuine decision based on knowledge. Here we go again with promises to prevent the next genocide because it takes three years to decide that it really is a genocide and then we just wring our hands and wish we’d stopped it before all those people died and promise the future that we wont let it happen again.

  6. Thank You KCA

It’s hard not to feel frustrated watching our political system operate like a shadow show. Expectations were high for a government with a super-majority, yet too often we see secrecy, spin, and minimal action. Institutions meant to hold power to account are weakened, media independence is under pressure, and the ordinary voter is left confused or disengaged.

The major parties seem more focused on protecting themselves than addressing real issues – climate, human rights, and global responsibilities included. Meanwhile, alternative voices that genuinely put people and the planet first are sidelined, leaving Australians with fewer meaningful choices.

We need leaders who act with integrity, transparency, and courage – not ones who settle for the lowest common denominator and hope no one notices. If Australians want change, it’s time to demand it, support real alternatives, and insist that accountability, honesty, and decency are non-negotiable in public life.

  7. 30 years in parliament, so no real experience of working in the “real world”.
With blind support of AUKUS and more particularly a neutered NACC, Albonese is a dangerous manipulator.
So much for the “lucky country”; well I guess it is for corrupt types, but not for the man in the street.

  8. I’m beginning to suspect that all these misguided morons are infected with the charlie kirk syndrome (lower case intended).

  9. Sick to death of seeing photos of dead shredded children and then hearing things that “Israel are our friends”over and over. We are then also told that Australia is a small player in the scheme of things and yet Albanese gets sent a letter from Netanyahu saying he should not vote for recognition of a Palestinian state at the UN. Also the lies of Murray Watt who is approving climate damaging projects left and right. They are all liars and corrupt as hell.
