It has been a good year for the Kangaroo Court of Australia website and YouTube channel and that is as a direct result of you the supporters.
The highlight of the year for me, given my past experience, was Kerry Stokes and Channel 7 getting an absolute hiding by all the media for financially supporting Ben Robert-Smith and Bruce Lehrmann and being caught out lying about it.
As regular readers know I had an 8-year battle with Kerry Stokes and Seven from 2014 to 2022 with their 4 SLAPP lawsuits against me. That experience enabled me to give readers and viewers a better insight into what Kerry Stokes was doing regarding his involvement with Roberts-Smith and Lehrmann.
I spent a lot of time reporting on the ACT Inquiry into the cover-up of the alleged rape of Brittany Higgins and also the Bruce Lehrmann defamation trial. The time I spent reporting on them was important because the ACT Inquiry became part of the cover-up attempt itself and the old media missed a lot of the evidence of police corruption which I reported on.

The Bruce Lehrmann and Brittany Higgins case has now morphed into multiple other court cases and it also goes to the heart of corruption in the federal government were politicians, public servants, the police and the judiciary have been exposed for corruption. The matter also shows how the old media are intertwined with the government corruption and play their part in the cover-up.
The reason I put the judiciary in there is because the ACT Inquiry chairman was former Queensland judge Walter Sofronoff and he’s currently in hiding from the media because of his corrupt handling of the Inquiry and his close alliance with News Corp.
2024 is set to be a big year as several court cases and appeals are decided but it also a time when the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) could and should start to show if it has any teeth or if it is a dud that needs changes such as bringing in public hearings as the default for hearings, the same as the NSW ICAC.
It is almost a daily basis now that the old media are being exposed for bias and pushing propaganda so the need for independent media has never been more important.
If Australia had 100 independent journalists reporting without fear or favour the country would be a different place and old media propagandists like Murdoch’s News Corp would be forced to change or shut down.
While Kangaroo Court of Australia only has one journalist, myself, I see it as part of the foundation of current independent journalists writing a business plan for future independent journalists to follow so we can grow to 100 plus independent journalists in future.
As I outlined in last year’s Christmas and New Years post I have reinvented myself as YouTuber which basically means I am doing a lot more videos and I will continue to do that in the future as that is what now underpins the financial viability of myself being an independent journalist.
It is your readership of the website and viewing of the videos on the YouTube channel that drive the performance and growth of the Kangaroo Court of Australia website and YouTube channel so thank you for your support.

In 2024 I plan on expanding the podcasts that I have done recently with more people in the podcasts and on a regular basis.

Great year for your website Shane and you are doing such important work against the thugs and entrenched propagandists at the major news outlets.
I recently had to watch Fox News channel for a week or so (on a cruise boat) and I was really shocked at the absolute farce of that channel. I mean they simply make up anything and run with it – mostly supporting the ridiculous Trump claims. This is the new Fox under Lachlan – he’s actually worse than dad!
