Scott Morrison was a target of “The plan” orchestrated by Brittany Higgins and her husband David Sharaz professional victim Senator Linda Reynolds claimed in her resignation speech to parliament last week.
Senator Linda Reynolds spent a large part of her 50 minute speech playing the victim and defaming Brittany Higgins and her husband David Sharaz under the protection of parliamentary privilege.
I have edited Linda Reynolds speech down to 15 minutes, as per below, and it’s a must watch for 4 key reasons:
- Linda Reynolds was continually lying and trying to defame Brittany Higgins and David Sharaz during her speech using parliamentary privilege.
- Linda Reynolds said Scott Morrison was also a target of “The plan”.
- In the video you can see current Liberal Party MP’s and Senators supporting Reynolds and her lies. These people are still in parliament.

- Senator Linda Reynolds tried to coach Bruce Lehrmann’s lawyers at the rape trial with evidence she thought would help Lehrmann.
- Senator Linda Reynolds asked Lehrmann’s lawyers for transcript of Brittany Higgins evidence which was before she gave evidence.
- Senator Linda Reynolds sent her husband from WA to the ACT to watch Brittany Higgins give evidence.
- Senator Linda Reynolds gave an interview to support Bruce Lehrmann and attack Brittany Higgins on Sevens Spotlight TV Show.
- Scott Morrison set up the Gaetjens Inquiry to find out who knew what and when about Brittney Higgins rape. All Morrison had to do was to send an email to staff asking the questions, but he refused to do it.
There was never a Gaetjens Inquiry report produced and staff in Morrison’s office lawyered up and refused to participate without having their lawyers present.

Linda Reynolds gave her speech just days after former judge Walter Sofronoff had a “serious corrupt conduct” finding made against him regarding his conduct during the ACT Inquiry he headed up into the Brittany Higgins rape cover-up.
I published an article titled “Rupert Murdoch should be charged with bribery given Walter Sofronoff’s “serious corrupt conduct” with one line saying:

That’s the same Janet Albrechtsen that Senator Linda Reynolds has been colluding with to attack Brittany Higgins and defend Bruce Lehrmann.
The Guardian published an article in August 2024 titled “Linda Reynolds praises ‘fair and balanced’ Albrechtsen – but reveals she is no fan of Samantha Maiden” which starts off:
The inner workings of journalism are again on display in a courtroom, this time in Western Australia where Linda Reynolds is suing Brittany Higgins for defamation over a series of social media posts she says damaged her reputation.
The Liberal senator has been giving evidence about why she chose to leak confidential information to the Australian’s conservative opinion columnist Janet Albrechtsen.
Reynolds said she leaked to Albrechtsen – who has been openly critical of Higgins – because she has “respect for her professionalism and her even-handedness”.
“I believe she was fair and balanced,” Reynolds said. (It was an interesting choice of words, given it was the original slogan adopted by Fox News when it launched in the US in 1996.)
Under cross-examination Reynolds denied her communications with Albrechtsen were about undermining Higgins’ claims, saying it was instead “about the truth”.
“It wasn’t my truth, it was the truth,” Reynolds said as to why she leaked finance department advice given to her in March 2019 about Higgins to Albrechtsen. (Click here to read more)
If former judge Walter Sofronoff has had a “serious corrupt conduct” finding made against him, and is facing possible criminal charges, for leaking documents to Janet Albrechtsen then why can’t Senator Linda Reynolds at least be investigated for leaking government documents to Janet Albrechtsen?
There are several outstanding related court cases, and likely more to come, so I’ll keep following up.

What I found amazing about the Liberal party, Parliament rape, was how some of the rusted on Liberal party supporters didn’t even blink when the deplorable LNP/Media usual suspects politicised it and just went full feral against the victim, actually supporting the person that was accused of the crime. The abuse really was disgusting, sickening, in both the MSM and social media. And how sobering that some LNP supporters saw right through the lies. How there were actually two different types of LNP supporters, there were still some honest ones? Now after the evidence and what went on in Channel 7 and what was presented at the court case most of the LNP supporters, can see how easily they were manipulated by the usual suspects in the LNP/Media. We can only hope the dishonest ones learnt a valuable lesson in LNP/Media disinformation, misinformation and blatant biased lying, but looking at the support Dutton, Reynolds and others still have, I doubt it?
She put her true nature on display. She always seemed to think she was the victim, when there was already a victim. She claims the Labor party hurt her family. No. Linda Reynolds hurt her own family. They must be thoroughly disgusted. She’s a ghastly woman. A lying, coniving, maligning, snake in the grass. Good riddance to her. Now, if only we could rid ourselves of Michaelia Cash, as well.
Reynolds has sued Mr and Mrs Shiraz in WA. Apparently it happened in WA because it is easier to get a win. Perhaps someone with legal expertise could clarify that.
I am pretty sure the case was heard well over six months ago and still no outcome. Shane, can you read anything into that long delay?
Reynolds should be utterly ashamed of herself. Higgins was a young staffer not protected in her office. Her acts of denial of responsibility are reprehensible- employers are responsible for safety and who they employ. Lehermann’s behaviour not only in this instance but in his dealings with rental landlord and other situations are red flags ignored by the Liberal Party.
Reynolds’ portrayal of Morrison as some sort of hapless victim of a grand conspiracy is not just absurd – it’s a desperate attempt to rewrite history. Her entire resignation speech reeks of self-pity and a blatant abuse of parliamentary privilege, where she conveniently defames others while shielding herself from accountability. Morrison’s failure to conduct a proper inquiry into Higgins’ allegations was not some orchestrated attack – it was his own UNWILLINGNESS to seek the truth.
Reynolds has no credibility left having been allegedly caught lying, perjuring herself, and colluding with conservative media figures.
The real revisionism here is her shameless attempt to paint herself and Morrison as innocent casualties rather than enablers of a broken system.

It’s sobering, disheartening and betraying to witness women in powerful positions in media, politics etc who hold no moral compass or admirable values. We have worked hard and are still working hard for equality and these are such reprehensible representatives who attack and undermine their own gender, employees and victims of crime perpetrated by men. 🤮
Hear hear Janet. I feel the same way. Both she and Michaelia Cash are such poor representatives of both women and the human race.
W.A. has just has a state election. In the lower house the Liberal party went from two seats to seven seats. The Nationals went from three seats to six seats. The remainder of the lower house seats went to Labor. Fifty nine seats were up for grabs. It is my contention that the voting public senses the polluted toxicity of the Liberal party contributed to largely, but not exclusively, by Linda Reynolds dragging a junior staffer, raped in her own office for goodness sake, through the Supreme Court of W.A. I don’t believe Western Australians believe Labor is the answer but they sure as hell don’t want the deplorable Liberals.
Someone (whether Reynolds herself or someone she paid) tampered with evidence, which is a crime
