Frank Schiefler, who refuses to answer questions about his background and works for Antisemitism Envoy Jillian Segal, is the Liberal Party candidate for the seat of Hastings in the Victorian state election to be held on the 28th of November 2026.

The entire scam has Jillian Segal’s fingerprints all over it. Why is Segal allowing one of her staff to run as a Liberal Party candidate? Did Segal organise Frank Schiefler’s candidacy via her political connections? Have any federal government resources been used for Frank Schiefler’s Victorian election campaign?

I emailed Frank Schiefler and the Liberal Party some questions about Frank Schiefler and his work history, and the only thing he did was to have a Jewish website take down an audio recording of Mr Schiefler confirming he works with Jillian Segal and previously worked for Dominic Perrottet when he was NSW Premier.

Sounds like a good resume, but it’s not.

Jillian Segal has been exposed as a compulsive liar and fraudster pushing the fake IHRA definition of antisemitism, which Justice Fagan dismantled in a recent NSW Supreme Court judgment. As it turns out, Frank Schiefler’s full-time job is promoting the IHRA scam for Jillian Segal’s office.

And Dominic Perrottet’s brothers Charles and Jean-Claude are currently under investigation in the livestreamed hearings of the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (NSW ICAC) for Operation Rosny.

Operation Rosny is about branch stacking and illegal donations in the Liberal Party, which seems similar to how Frank Schiefler was parachuted into the Victorian seat of Hastings.

On the 31st of March 2026, Steve Holland posted on “X”:

The Victorian Liberal Party state executive met tonight to select their Hastings electorate candidate. Staffer and Moderate faction/Phil Davis ally Frank Schiefler was chosen to take on Paul Mercurio in November. Local party members were again denied a vote, some have resigned in protest. (Click here to see on “X”)

It says, “Local party members were again denied a vote”, which means he was parachuted into the seat. I wonder who drove that? Did Jillian Segal give him a reference?

On the 1st of April, it was reported that Frank Schiefler had been chosen as the Liberal Party candidate. But the report said little about his background except that he served in the Australian Army and has worked with senior Liberal figures in advisory roles.

Frank Schiefler’s non-existent resume

I listened to an audio recording of a “Liberal Friends of Israel” function on J-AIR 88FM, which is a Jewish community radio station, introducing new candidates for the upcoming Victorian state election.

The function was hosted by the Liberal Friends of Israel founders: Senator for Victoria James Paterson, Federal Member for Goldstein Tim Wilson and State Member for Caulfield David Southwick MP as per the promotional picture below:

Liberal Friends of Israel reminds me of the “Lawyers for Israel” WhatsApp group who stalk and harass people and had Antoinette Lattouf unlawfully sacked from the ABC.

What do they mean by “featuring our candidates”? Israel’s candidates?

Frank Schiefler was on the recording and said he worked with Jillian Segal and had worked for Dominic Perrottet when he was NSW Premier. But it was almost impossible to find any documentary evidence about Frank Schiefler’s work history with Jillian Segal, Dominic Perrottet or what he did in the Army etc.

So I emailed Frank Schiefler questions as per below:

2. Your profile on the Liberal Party website says you are a former Australian Army soldier. When were you in the Army and what did you do?
3. I understand that you currently work with Jillian Segal – Australia’s Special Envoy to Combat Antisemitism. Is that correct?
4. Do you work directly for Jillian Segal or another company? If another company, what is the name of the company?
5. Is your job to promote the IHRA definition of antisemitism?
6. What involvement have you had with the Royal Commission on Antisemitism and Social Cohesion?
7. Is it correct that you previously worked for Dominic Perrottet when he was Premier of NSW? If so, when and what did you do?
8. Have you ever had any communication or dealings with Dominic Perrottet’s brothers Charles and/or Jean-Claude?
9. What role or association have you had in the NSW Liberal Party faction known as “The Reformers”?
10. Have you ever spoken to the NSW ICAC regarding Operation Rosny and/or the NSW Liberal Party faction known as “The Reformers” or any other matter?

Please respond by 5pm on Friday the 28^th of August 2026 so I can publish and in case I have further questions.

Frank Schiefler did not respond to my questions, but J-AIR 88FM did delete the “Liberal Friends of Israel” function recording, which had Frank Schiefler on it.

Is Frank Schiefler a compulsive liar?

Frank Schiefler has been the selected candidate for the seat of Hastings since the 1st of April, and he announced his candidacy on his Facebook page on the 15th of April and has been campaigning since.

But there is no evidence of any work history. No evidence he was in the Army, no evidence he ever worked for former NSW Premier Dominic Perrottet, and only 2 pieces of evidence he works with Jillian Segal, which I will get to in a minute.

And on Frank Schiefler’s profile on the Liberal Party website, it is very vague. It says:

“Frank is a former Australian Army soldier and experienced community advocate.” and “Frank has spent his career in public service. Through his time in the army, he learnt first hand the importance of teamwork. And when he was working in government he used his skills to help resolve everyday issues for ordinary Victorians.” (Click here to read more)

That is all the Liberal Party says about his work history. No mention of working with Jillian Segal or Dominic Perrottet or anyone else.

There are two places I found showing Frank Schiefler works for Jillian Segal. The first one shows up in a recently published NSW government report and says the below on page 107:

On the 6th of August 2025, Frank Schiefler was the Assistant Director to Australia’s Special Envoy to Combat Antisemitism, Jillian Segal, and sent an email to the Secretariat at the NSW Parliament, who were conducting an inquiry.

The second place showing Frank Schiefler works for Jillian Segal is on a secret “candidates page” asking for donations to “Support Candidates Standing with the Jewish Community” on the “Liberal Friends of Israel” website showing their candidates.

Why are there only 5 candidates on the “Liberal Friends of Israel” candidates page? Is it because it is a Zionist page and most Liberal Party candidates don’t want to be associated with it?

As I said above, the “candidates page” showing Frank Schiefler works for Jillian Segal is a secret page.

If you go to the “Liberal Friends of Israel” website, you will not be able to find the “candidates page“, as there is no menu with a link to that page, so you would never know that page is on the website. I only know about the “candidates page” because I received an anonymous tip.

Why the secret candidates page? They are obviously emailing Jewish people, with a link to the candidates page, asking them for support, knowing that promoting “Frank Schiefler is Assistant Director to Jillian Segal, Australia’s Special Envoy to Combat Antisemitism” would help with donations from Jewish people.

And the same goes for Frank Schiefler saying on Jewish radio that he works with Jillian Segal. It would help increase support from the Jewish community.

But telling the average voter that you currently work as Assistant Director to Jillian Segal, Australia’s Special Envoy to Combat Antisemitism, is potentially very damaging to Frank Schiefler’s election prospects and Frank Schiefler and the Liberal Party know it.

That is why Frank Schiefler and the Liberal Party had the audio recording of a “Liberal Friends of Israel” function on J-AIR 88FM deleted when I sent an email asking questions. It is also why the Liberal Party website profile of Frank Schiefler makes no mention of his job with Jillian Segal.

Frank Schiefler and the Liberal Party telling Jewish people that he works for Jillian Segal and hiding that same fact from non-Jewish voters needs investigating.

The above raises many questions, and at some point Frank Schiefler and the Liberal Party will have to explain themselves. I think Frank Schiefler has little choice but to resign as the Liberal candidate.
