Western Australia’s Labor Party spoon-fed Pauline Hanson’s One Nation Party the state seat of Secret Harbour last Saturday (29/8/26) by running gas lobbyist Georgia Tree as their candidate.

The Labor Party and Liberal Party are accused daily of being captured by fossil fuel interests, captured by Zionist interests as I wrote two weeks ago, and captured by the gambling industry etc.

So, what did the WA Labor Party do? They chose a gas lobbyist as their candidate, at a time when voters want governments to tax gas companies $billions more, and in effect gave the voters the middle finger.

The voters replied by kicking Labor out of the safe Labor seat and voted One Nation in.

Not only did the Labor Party serve up a gas lobbyist candidate, but they were also trying to deceive voters by hiding Georgia Tree’s work history as much as possible. Georgia Tree joined the Labor party in 2013 and worked for Federal MP Madeleine King for nine years before becoming a Government Relations Officer for Woodside.

The ABC reported: “As WA Labor’s candidate for the Secret Harbour by-election, Georgia Tree has taken leave from her work as a Woodside lobbyist.”

Her critics have accused her of being a ‘gas candidate’, but she says the outrage has been generated by social media, and not the locals.

“I think that working in the resources sector is nothing new in this area… FIFO is huge here, so it hasn’t been controversial,” she told Oliver Peterson on #1025ABCPerth. (Click here to read more)

Well, if working as a lobbyist for Woodside Energy, which is a global oil and gas company, and voters calling you a “gas candidate” is not an issue, why didn’t Georgia Tree mention that on her website?

I grew up in Warnbro. Mum was diagnosed with cancer when I was 5, and died when I was 9. Dad raised my brother and I alone on a sparky’s wage. Money was tight. 

I went to Warnbro Community High School. Only 5 of us in my year went to uni, something I could only do because WA Labor built the Mandurah Line. 

I want to continue the work Paul Papalia CSC MLA has done for 19 years. I’ll fight for real cost of living relief, better schools and free TAFE, and stronger Medicare and health services, because Mum’s chemo would have bankrupted us without it.

Georgia Tree makes no mention of her working for Federal MP Madeleine King, who has been the Minister for Resources since June 2022, for nine years before becoming a gas lobbyist for Woodside.

The irony is when Georgia Tree became a lobbyist for Woodside, she would have been lobbying her former boss, Resources Minister Madeleine King.

Given Woodside gave Georgia Tree leave to run her election campaign, and given she lost, she should be back lobbying Madeleine King soon.

WA Premier Roger Cook posted a lengthy promotional piece for Georgia Tree on his Facebook page (29/8/26) (Click here to see on Facebook) and once again it made no mention of Georgia Tree’s work history.

If Labor thought Georgia Tree’s work history, working for Federal MP Madelaine King and working as a gas lobbyist for Woodside, was a positive, it would have been on Georgia Tree’s website and also mentioned in Premier Roger Cook’s Facebook post.

The fact that Georgia Tree’s work history was not promoted says Labor knew they had a major issue and she should not have been chosen as Labor’s candidate.

WA Today reported (30/8/26) on the election result and campaign:

One Nation is no longer just a headache for the conservative side of Australian politics – it poses a clear and present danger to Labor too.

That is the message sent loud and clear at the Secret Harbour byelection on Saturday night from the sleepy little coastal electorate in the mortgage belt about 50 kilometres south of Perth’s CBD.

and:

Labor’s dissection of its campaign will reveal plenty of missteps.

It got off to a shocker by selecting candidate Georgia Tree, who may have grown up in the area but now lived in a $1.4 million house 61 kilometres away in inner-city Perth.

Byelections are hyper-local by nature, and that fact was hammered home during the campaign.

Hurrying away from press conferences to avoid questions is never a good look. But to be fair to Georgia Tree, the WA Labor Party ran a very negative campaign as per the below video, which backfired badly given the election result.

In the below car crash interview, Georgia Tree tried to distance herself from Labor’s negative campaign.

The Labor Party’s contempt for voters is why they lost the Secret Harbour by-election.

It should be mandatory for candidates to publish their resumes so voters can make an informed decision on who they are voting for.

Labor’s Georgia Tree works as a gas lobbyist, and the Liberal’s Frank Schiefler in Hastings is a Zionist working for Jillian Segal, whose loyalty is to Israel. And the Labor Party and Liberal Party wonder why voters are deserting them at the ballot box.

Voters in WA’s seat of Secret Harbour didn’t fall for Labor’s dishonesty, and I doubt the voters will fall for the Liberal Party’s dishonesty in the Victorian seat of Hastings.

While it is almost certain that Prime Minister Anthony Albanese had nothing to do with Georgia Tree and the Secret Harbour by-election there will be fallout for the federal Labor Party. Because one thing that will stick in people’s minds is that the Labor Party chose a gas lobbyist as a candidate, and that will have a negative impact for the Labor Party at both a state and federal level.

We have moved into a political landscape where the major parties are trying to lie and deceive voters into voting for lobbyists working for global gas companies and people whose loyalty is to a foreign country.
