Donald Trump and Anthony AlbanesePrime Minister Anthony Albanese

Is Donald Trump trying to shake down Australia with the $368 billion AUKUS deal?

The $368 billion AUKUS deal between Australia, the US and UK, for 8 submarines we will likely never get, is Australia biggest fraud scam.

So, when the Donald Trump administration announced on Thursday (12/6/25) they were reviewing the AUKUS deal the first thing that came to mind is Trump trying to rip Australia off even more?

Every grifter on both sides of politics, Labor Party and Liberal Party, seems to have their snout in the trough with even Scott Morrison being welcomed back into the fold, by the Labor and Liberal Parties, for a piece of the action.

From when Donald Trump started campaigning for the US Presidency and in the weeks after he was inaugurated in January 2025 trolls were everywhere on the internet saying what a great job he would do.

But when Donald Trump’s grifting became obvious, with such things at the Trump coin cryptocurrency, the trolls disappeared quickly.

So, with Donald Trump’s main gaol of his Presidency being to make as much money as he can, and with the long list of Australian political grifters trying to cash in on AUKUS, it points to a possibility that the so-called “review” by the Donald Trump administration is nothing more than an attempt to shake down the Australian government for more cash.

I have also published a video of this article as per below:

Bribery in the defence industry is rife

Former Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison and his mates cashed in on the deal with the French and then cancelled the deal and did a runner with the cash. Now Morrison and his mates are trying to cash in on AUKUS.

In May 2020 I published an article titled “Has Scott Morrison’s best mates David Gazard and Peter Costello again fraudulently profited from Australia’s $90 billion Liberal Party / submarine slush fund?” which starts off:

Australia’s $90 billion submarine contract was only finalised in 2019 after Scott Morrison’s best mates David Gazard and Peter Costello were cut into the action by Morrison. That alone says there needs to be an open and public inquiry into the contract.

On Wednesday (6/5/20) further details were reported about suspect financial decisions regarding the deal.

The Australian defence force approved Australian taxpayer-funded pay rises and bonuses for the staff at the French-owned Naval Group Australia even though “the project is already billions of dollars over budget and years behind schedule”. (Click here to read more)

In September 2021 I published an article titled “France had Scott Morrison’s mate David Gazard on their payroll for the $90 billion Submarine scam. Has Morrison pulled off one of the biggest stings ever?” which starts off:

The Submarine contract with France, who have a long history of bribing other countries for defence contracts, was always a major scam that blew out from $50 billion to $90 billion in a couple of years with millions flowing into the hands of Liberal Party cronies.

France openly had several Liberal Party cronies on their payroll, including Scott Morrison’s close friends David Gazard and Peter Costello, so they thought they owned the Australian government and that is why the French are so mad with Morrison cancelling the deal.

As with most major frauds it is a case of following the money to find the truth. I have been following the money in this matter since 2016 with a number of articles. (Click here to read more)

In March 2023 I published an article titled “Nine chairman Peter Costello is now promoting war with China after making $millions lobbying for defence companies” which starts off:

Nine Entertainment-owned papers have been talking up the prospects of Australia going to war with China while failing to declare that Nine chairman Peter Costello has made $millions in recent years lobbying on behalf of defence companies.

Former Prime Minister Paul Keating has also stuck his head up while never declaring he was and possibly still is on China’s payroll and executive editor of The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, Tory Maguire, is sleeping with the enemy.

One of the numerous articles on this matter in Nine’s “Red Alert series” is titled “Australia faces the threat of war with China within three years – and we’re not ready” which is written as a statement of fact but is only an opinion piece which I find pathetic as it is blatant warmongering. The first question that should be asked is who benefits from propaganda like that? (Click here to read more)

Australia’s submarine planning

Australia’s plans for new submarines have been in the pipeline for over 15 years but nothing has been achieved. Why? So why would we trust the government now with AUKUS?

Australian comedian Mark Humphries sums up what a joke it is in the below video he posted on Twitter:

Australian grifters

The number of grifters trying to cash in on AUKUS is growing by the day.

I published an article in September 2024 titled “The Labor and Liberal politicians set to make $millions from the AUKUS money train. The AUKUS scam exposed” and followed up with another article in January 2025 titled “How Liberal Party’s Joe Hockey steals from the $368 billion AUKUS fraud scam from cradle to grave“.

The latest to join the AUKUS gravy train is “Yaron Finkelstein, who was chief adviser to former prime minister Scott Morrison when he signed up to the AUKUS pact”. (Click here to read more)

Yaron Finkelstein showed up in evidence during the Bruce Lehrmann / Brittany Higgins parliament house rape scandal. He was Morrison’s hatchment man who swept the corruption under the carpet.

Just for the record. Scott Morrison signed the AUKUS deal as I wrote in 2021:

Scott Morrison’s announcement of the Claytons deal with the US and UK for nuclear Submarines achieves nothing but to shine a light on the original scam further. As journalist Peter Hartcher from the SMH says below there is no deal with the US and UK. There is only an agreement with the US and UK to possibly come to an agreement in the future which is a joke and not worth the choreographed announcement between Morrison, Joe Biden and Boris Johnson that happened.

It is Prime Minister Anthony Albanese and the federal Labor government that negotiated the final AUKUS deal and came up with the $368 billion price tag.

Some reports say the terms of AUKUS contract are so bad for Australia that the US and UK don’t have to deliver the submarines if they decide not to and Australia can’t get our money back if they don’t.

I think there is a good chance that the AUKUS fraud scam will be both Scott Morrison’s and Anthony Albanese’s legacy as Prime Minister and it won’t be something for them to be proud of.

  1. Is Donald Trump trying to shake down Australia with the $368 billion AUKUS deal?Almost certainly. We swallowed the first scam so why not a second? One thing Trump is likely very good at, is knowing a chump when he sees one.

  2. Our politicians are famous for doing hopeless deals. Trump knows fools when he sees them
We will be ripped off again
    Robert Barnier

  3. Knowing that PM Albanese is off to Canada to represent Australia is a certainty to continue to sell Australia down the drain and happily give away our sovereignty, in bed with the deplorables of Morrison ilk we can rest assured that Albanese will continue with his track record of spinelessness representation of Australian interest in favour of big business who specialises in tax evasion and warmongering. Australia would be better served if we sent a message on X to Trump with a short message “AUKUS cancelled” Rest assured this spineless Albanese will allow Trump to tamper with the PBS by stealth, covered up by his master’s in Washington and complicit media Murdoch 7, 9 and ABC. Meanwhile the ABC is self imploding ridding itself of any political journalism mirror imaging the despicable Sky type of political propaganda. Would have served Australia’s interests if Albanese spend the next week in the Lodge watching Play School. Never before has Australia had a Labor PM who along LNP lines openly sold out our sovereignty in favour of the $$€¥.

    • Alboweasy is in on the scam and he will grovel to Trump! The deal should have been cancelled and Morrisinister and co charged with corruption. When Alboweasy said that he knew of no corrupt politician I knew he was corrupt. He’s a pleaser with no guts!

  4. We’re a country of 26 million people, already committing $365 billion to AUKUS to fight against our biggest trading partner and the imagined enemy of the US. Can the madness ever stop? I doubt Albanese will stop it.

  5. AlboEgo cannot even get Trump on the phone to negotiate tariffs so he’ll have Buckley’s speaking with 47 about anything ‘on the sidelines’ at the G7 this weekend!
Interesting that every major country has been able to negotiate with Trump on tariffs yet Australia cannot.
Perhaps AlboEgo, Wong & Rudd should have refrained from posting about their TDS on social media for Trump & his administration to see…
Now who is really to blame???

  6. Sometimes the only way to survive the relentless absurdity of the AUKUS farce is to squeeze every last drop of creative juice 🧃 out of your frustration and pour it into satire. Because if we don’t laugh (and rage), we’ll cry. So here it is – my latest take on the $368B theatre of the absurd …

Welcome to AUKUS Motors 🚗💸 – the dodgiest used car lot this side of the Pacific.
They’ve sold us a $368 BILLION lemon 🍋 – nuclear submarines we might get in 30 years (if they ever arrive at all). No engine, no keys, no guarantee – and definitely no refunds. Just trust us, mate – she’ll run like a dream once the stars align ✨ and the Pentagon feels generous 🇺🇸.

Scott Morrison 🤥 signed the dodgy contract like a bloke scribbling on a napkin after too many freebies. Albanese 🤷‍♂️ doubled down, polishing the same rust bucket like it’s some great Aussie triumph.

Now, the king of the con, Donald Trump 💰🧠, is back – hand out, demanding a “service fee” or the subs might never leave the lot 🚢🛑.

Meanwhile, Aussie’s struggle with housing 🏚️, healthcare 🏥, and food prices 🥫 – while every political parasite with a defence buddy is cashing in 💼🤑.

    This isn’t defence – it’s a slow-motion corporate shakedown 🧯🚨, wrapped in flags and PR stunts 🎭.

AUKUS Motors: where the only thing nuclear is the BS 💣, and the only thing sinking faster than the subs is public trust 🕳️⏬.

    • Well said, sir. And, how many (ex) pollies have their hand in the AUKUS $$$$$ trough? No wonder they don’t want to pull the pin.

  7. Australia is said to be facing the prospect of a war with China within three years according to our government. Or the US government? What on earth are we talking about building submarines for delivery in about 25 or 30 years. I predict that the war will be run and won by then! Alternatively we should be spending every cent we can find to buy ammunition for our tanks (to do what?) Or to buy intercontinental ballistic missiles with nuclear warheads so we can threaten China next year except this needs another 20 years of infra structure.
Alternatively we could spend a bit of money on diplomacy. I have no idea how you do that but paying students of history might be a starting point. Another starting point would be to give aid of all sorts to neighbors who need a hand right now. But not the sort of aid that you buy at Coles or similar but real assistance in improving their country and economy. For example a training hospital and university called “The Australian Hospital” Staffed by Australians where it is essential and soon by graduates of the Australian University, which might be a branch of a National Australian Uni. Simple things that don’t reek of ” if China will do that then we will copy them, and If China hasnt offered then why would we waste our money on some minor country” We could even be disgusting socialists and include a foundation to provide running costs. It might even create an medical tourism industry But then we would have to make it profitable and rip people off as much as possible. No beds for the locals of course.

  8. Boris Johnson, ex-PM of the UK, said that the offer to sell atomic subs to Oz was made to give President Macron of France a black eye for being tough on Brexit. If true, then an important strategic decision, costing $multibillions++ was made over a petty feud at the other end of the world. Ironically the French subs were made to be atomic powered. President Biden gave US approval to the deal, so Trump feels free to break it. I hope he does.

  9. This is a very long term acquisition. What are the chances of someone in the world (probably China, Russia, USA or even Australia) inventing a device that tracks big nuclear submarines. It may be satellites observing thermal trails or transducers that sit on the ocean floor or underwater drones that patrol the ocean near a submarine service port. Many years ago I heard that submarines could be individually identified by the noises from propellers and flow around the hull.
I don’t remember where, but I read that the German Atlantic submarine war in WW2 basically fell over because of one advance in the sensitivity of radar that allowed aircraft to detect the snorkel when the old fashioned U boats had to breathe.
30 years is a long time for someone to develop that magic device that will make our AUKUS subs useless.
It also depends on whether the US gives us permission to use them. In 2040 President Trump (the second) may not allow us to defend our good friends in Greenland from a foreign invader or the crew of American mercenaries may choose to scuttle our boat rather than fight on our side. Would we demand that any foreign submariners relinquish their original nationality and swear allegiance to King Harry
