Liberal Party fraudsters Angus Taylor and Jacinta Price run for leadership

Angus Taylor and Jacinta Price both have numerous fraud allegations against them, yet it is no barrier for them to run for Leader and Deputy Leader of the Liberal Party. In fact, you could be mistaken for thinking it was a prerequisite.

I will deal with the specific allegations against Angus Taylor and Jacinta Price in a minute, but it is worth noting former opposition leader Peter Dutton’s fraud history was everywhere on social media during the May 2025 federal election campaign.

And without a doubt Peter Dutton’s fraud history played a part in not only Dutton losing his own seat of Dickson but also the numerous lost seats and reduced vote for the Liberal Party nationally.

It could also be said that former Prime Minister Scott Morrison’s corruption played a part in the coalition losing the 2022 federal election.

While the old media failed to report Scott Morrison’s and Peter Dutton’s corruption during the 2022 and 2025 federal election campaigns, new media and social media stepped up to the plate and reported their corruption all day every day.

For whatever reason, the Liberals want to go back to the future with Angus Taylor and Jacinta Price given their corruption will be all over social media as fast as you can say Watergate.

Angus Taylor’s fraud and theft – Watergate

In July 2019 I published an article titled “The $80 million fraud by Angus Taylor and Barnaby Joyce that won’t go away. Watergate starts rising again.” which starts off:

Australia’s #Watergate, the $80 million fraud involving federal MP’s Angus Taylor and Barnaby Joyce, has grown legs over the last few weeks and won’t be going away anytime soon as some predicted it would after the 2019 federal election. In fact, Australia’s #Watergate is shaping up as the political scandal of the year if not the decade.

It now includes a $750 million dollar class action by farmers against the Murray-Darling Basin Authority which is the corrupt government department that was overseen by Barnaby Joyce before he was sacked as a minister and is now overseen by David Littleproud.

Angus Taylor’s handiwork has now been exposed to also include killing endangered grasslands on a property that he and his brother own and then calling in favours from Josh Frydenberg to try and cover it up, but more on that in a minute.

Farmers are being sent bankrupt as they are not allocated enough water and have to pay inflated prices for water as big business profit from the sale of water.

Big businesses linked to Angus Taylor, Barnaby Joyce and David Littleproud have also profited from the Murray-Darling Basin Plan which is overseen by the Murray-Darling Basin Authority which they control as federal politicians.

The story that started generating a lot of interest for #Watergate is the below broadcast on The Project on Channel 10 which gives a good overview of #Watergate. (Click here to read the article)

Before the 2019 federal election social media drove a lot of the reporting on the Angus Taylor – Barnaby Joyce $80 million #Watergate fraud which involved a company associated with Angus Taylor, based in the Cayman Islands, receiving an $80 million windfall for selling water, that did not exist, to the federal government. Taylor refused to answer questions and even threatened defamation action against two journalists. (Click here to read more)

Angus Taylor’s wife barrister Louise Clegg

In December 2019 I published an article titled “Angus Taylor’s wife is barrister Louise Clegg. Does she advise him on his fraud and theft?” which starts off:

Angus Taylor is married to barrister Louise Clegg so there is no excuse for his crimes and alleged crimes as he can get free legal advice 24 hours a day.

A question that could and should be asked is what role, if any, has Louise Clegg played in the various fraud and theft scandals currently engulfing her husband such as Watergate, Grassgate, the fraudulent Sydney City council document and the Naomi Wolf lies. (Click here to read the article)

Lack of political nous – Promoting drink driving and Margaret Cunneen

In the below video Louise Clegg activity promotes drink driving as being ok and while she does not name former prosecutor Margert Cunneen she is obviously supporting her as well in relation to Cunneen advising her then son’s girlfriend to lie to police a few years ago.

Above is just a brief overview of Angus Taylor and what he would bring to the role of Liberal Party leader and Leader of the Opposition. And what he would bring is just more humiliation and embarrassment for the Liberal Party.

Jacinta Price’s fraud and theft

Jacinta Price has recent allegations of expenses fraud against her and on the 22nd of October 2023 I published an article titled “Peter Dutton, Jacinta Price and her mother Bess Price exposed conspiring to loot $million from Indigenous funding via a school grant” which starts off:

Opposition leader Peter Dutton is heading up a conspiracy trying to pour $12 million of Indigenous funding into a school that is being used as a slush fund / fraud scam where the mother of Shadow Minister for Indigenous Affairs Jacinta Price, Bess Price, works.

There are already outstanding allegations of fraud at the school which I will outline below, but firstly the background to $12 million scam for the school boarding house project.

Senator Jacinta Price is pushing for the project with the support of Shadow Education Minister Sarah Henderson and others. But as you will see in the below video Jacinta’s mother Bess Price is a major driver for the grant and works at the school. It is a conflict of interest that should be declared by everyone pushing for the $12 million grant, but no one is doing it.

National Party leader David Littleproud is in on the scam and even used parliament question time to put pressure on Prime Minister Anthony Albanese to hand over $12 million to the Yipirinya Independent Aboriginal School in Alice Springs and failed to declare the blatant conflict of interest. Jacinta Price’s expenses fraud

The SMH reported in March 2025:

Jacinta Price being investigated for 14th potential misuse of expenses

Jacinta Nampijinpa Price, the Coalition rising star charged with reducing government waste, has had to repay expenses she improperly claimed from the taxpayer 13 times totalling almost $11,000 and is being investigated again for potentially misusing her federally funded car to attend her husband’s concerts.

Asked why she has paid back so many claims, a spokeswoman said: “The senator is diligent and proactive in reviewing her travel claims and expenses. Evidence of previous repayments is evidence that the senator takes very seriously her responsibility to ensure the proper use of taxpayer funds and proactively rectifies any mistakes if and when she has become aware of them”. (Click here to read more)

Why doesn’t Jacinta Price review her travel claims and expenses before she makes the claims?

Summary

Media reports say Angus Taylor approached Jacinta Price to jump ship from the Nationals to the Liberal Party and National Party Senator Bridget McKenzie has said the Liberal Party approached Jacinta Price 5 days before the federal election.

While Jacinta Price hasn’t announced she is running for deputy leader of the Liberal Party, she hasn’t refuted it either.

Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor is running against Liberal Party deputy leader Sussan Ley who was Peter Dutton’s deputy over the last 3 years which to me disqualifies her for any role in parliament.

The bottom line is the Liberal Party and Coalition need massive reform and the people inside the party and the outside influences like billionaire Gina Rinehart won’t let that happen anytime soon.

Voters have been shifting away from Labor and the Liberals for decades which won’t stop, and the Liberals have accelerated the shift away from themselves by their own corruption and stupidity.

Where is the evidence of the Liberal’s corruption and stupidity? The fact that Angus Taylor and Jacinta Price are even being spoken about as possible leader and deputy leader of the Liberal Party is a truck load of evidence.

The chances of Angus Taylor and the Liberal Party winning the 2028 federal election is zero. But Sussan Ley’s chances aren’t any better because the Liberal Party’s problems go way beyond who is leader.

  1. Liberal mafia? Thanks KCA for continuing to bring the truth to the public eye. I notice Labor is silent about Watergate and Dutton’s doings. And we can forget about the NACC ever doing anything useful. Poor Australia.

  2. Looks like it’s only social media & sometimes the ABC that put this stuff before the public
    Thank you KCA.
We certain can’t depend on the NACC

  3. Excellent choice to represent the Liberal Party, and with Senator Canavan upsetting the Nationals collection of misfits, drunkards and fools, means LNP will remain in the wilderness for many years to come, and with in-house fighting within Labor, dumping an inefficient AG who sunk whistleblowers and sold out to Washington at every call, the public will see the Labor majority quickly disappear to give call to independents and Greens return to more seats.. Labor’s honeymoon won’t last long, Murdoch 7, 9 and ABC will be working overtime to highlight Labor’s incompetence, but it won’t advantage LNP but favor Greens and Independents…

  4. If the Labor Party make Michelle Rowland the Attorney General (as has been mooted) we might see a much-improved NACC. Might! The fact that Angus Taylor and Barnaby colluded in that water buyback deal, while not being held to account, sounds very American to me. There should be investigation, at all levels, to root this out, because IMO it leaves the door open to ongoing blatant corruption, like Trump’s lot.
I knew about the Taylor-Joyce issue at the time, and there’s still been no accounting for $80 million of taxpayer’s money. If Taylor is elected as Opposition Leader, may the Liberals and their lot all be doomed to oblivion.

    • Labor were aware of Watergate and Dutton’s corruption, but said nothing, then corrupted the NACC to ensure nothing was done. I wouldn’t trust Michelle Rowland to do anything about it either, but I hope I’m proven wrong. Remember, these things have been accepted by both sides of government.

  5. Some pretty wise and courageous men – Voltaire, Goethe, George Bernard Shaw, Lloyd George, Disraeli, Aldous Huxley and more recently Christopher Hitchens – said that planet Earth is a lunatic asylum and garbage dump for other civilisations the existence of which our governments keep covering up. It’s where they send their wretches, duds and rejects of varying severity. Socrates explained why we can’t make a decent fist of public administration. The very act of ruling others calls for compromise of the soul. Yet we go on believing that an election will suddenly make everything alright. The problem is that we have no idea who we really are or why we’re obliged to suffer to do good. We’re running a gauntlet that only a small elite manage to recognise and slip through (as Matt 7:13-14 attests). The world’s billionaires came to see that wealth doesn’t cut it, as they’d thought and hoped and believed. They want power over others, and they want it so bad they’ll commit any atrocity to get it. And we fools aid and abet them. If that doesn’t signal that the loonies have taken over the nut house, I don’t know what would do the trick. And we plod on totally unaware that our obsession with acquiring wealth is eating our guts out. The wise J. K. Galbraith told us that wealth is the relentless enemy of understanding. And the lack of understanding is taking us all back to the caves, as Einstein predicted.

  6. The NACC dozing away just like it was designed to do by the corrupt LaborLibNats parties. It’s going to be a long 3 years but thanks to the KCoA.

  7. It is really staggering – but not surprising – that Angus Taylor and Jacinta Price are being floated as leadership material in a party drowning in its own ethical sludge. The Liberal and National parties have long operated like a political cartel: unaccountable, entitled, and riddled with scandal after scandal. From Watergate to forged documents, from expenses misuse to conflicts of interest dressed up as policy, the rot has been allowed to set in deep – because integrity has never been part of their operating manual.

For decades, these parties have treated public office like a private cheque book
handing taxpayer funds to mates, donors, or themselves under the guise of “governance.”

Australians are sick of the gaslighting, the cronyism, and the culture of cover-up. They deserve leaders, not looters.

And yet, what do we see? Not reform, not humility, but the same cynical recycling of figures with baggage so heavy it should disqualify them from even sitting on a local council. The fact that Angus Taylor, with his Cayman Islands water scandal, and Jacinta Price, with her never-ending string of “accidental” expense claims, are still in contention shows just how broken the system is – and how determined these parties are to learn absolutely nothing.

The Liberal-National Coalition doesn’t need a new leader. It needs a full audit, a truth commission, and a mirror.

    • ACT II
But wait, it has gotten worse.
In a plot twist that would make Kafka weep, the Liberals have handed the smoking wreckage of their party to Sussan-with-two-S’s Ley – a woman whose idea of fiscal responsibility once included a taxpayer-funded detour to buy an $800,000 Gold Coast holiday home. “Error of judgment,” she said. Right. Like misplacing your wallet and finding it full of public funds.

Now Sussan’s meant to drag this twitching corpse of a party back to the “sensible centre” – which in Liberal-speak means pretending to be moderate while dodging fire from climate cavemen, anti-woke crusaders, and the ghost of Tony Abbott, still doing laps in budgie smugglers screaming about the ABC.

Her battle plan? Park Ted O’Brien next to her, smile at the cameras, and pray no one remembers she was the health minister when the system was held together with gaffer tape and pep talks.

So here we are – numerology, jet skis, caravan campaigns, ghost flights, ghost leaders, and now Sussan Ley – the accidental pilot of the political Titanic. If this is the best the Coalition can cough up, Anthony Albanese might want to start measuring the curtains for a third term – and maybe a fourth, while he’s at it.

Because when leadership is this laughable, who needs satire?

  8. Dutton dumped! The LNP decimated, just as so many of us predicted. The Liberals leadership replacement answer, is completely as would be expected, deaf dumb and blinded as usual, Suss an Ley or “Taylor and Price”. Out of the frying pan and into the fire? You just cannot make this stuff up, its Monty Pythonesque. “Tis but a scratch”? If only Australia were permitted to have comedy on the ABC again, this would be seriously hilarious! Whomever is advising the Liberal party on leadership selection, absolutely hates their guts and wants to destroy them. Probably still Abbott and Credlin?
Now Duttons gone, the least most trusted politician in Australia, would now have to be hands down Jacinta Price, WTF are they thinking. We can only assume it’s under direct orders of the LNP owner and operator, her supreme highness Gina the hart? The replacement of the A-G may give KCA some vindication and small hope of improvement and action on a raft of matters, we can only wait and see?

    • Hi, Tweed, speaking of Monty Python reminded me of when Planet America first took off on the ABC. I wrote to the folk there about starting a Planet Australia spinoff. They replied they had their hands full (or on a limited budget). Max Gillies used to tear strips off politicians and I thought P Oz could do the same. Shame, as I think pollies might fear their follies exposed as humour would cut deeper than, say, NACC.

  9. How can the Liberals possibly put Taylor and Price at the leadership of the LNP.
Corruption is the name of the game, the more corrupt the better, is the Liberal game.

  10. I’ve said it before. Sussan Lay is a lightweight who can’t string two sentences together. Labor ministers ran rings around her in Parliament. They didn’t have to extend themselves because her arguments were 30 second sound bites of Lib cheap shots and propaganda. Seriously, does anyone think she could present a detailed policy position at the National Press Club? Gimee a break. If she is elected leader she won’t last long. Just look at the Labor Party female opponents alone who can run rings around her. Talk about bottom of the Liberal barrel.
