Will former NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian face criminal charges for her perjury? NSW ICAC to deliver corruption report on 29-6-23

Former NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian and others such as former NSW Deputy Premier John Barilaro could be looking down the barrel of criminal charges next week as the NSW Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) announced it will furnish it’s Operation Keppel investigation report “to the Presiding Officers at the NSW Parliament on Thursday 29 June 2023 at 9.00 am”.

If criminal charges are recommended against Gladys Berejiklian some likely crimes would be fraud, perjury and “misconduct in public office” which saw former Labor MP Eddie Obeid jailed.

Gladys Berejiklian’s performance in the witness stand was scandalous and she blatantly perjured herself regularly as per the below video. (Click here to read more)

Gladys Berejiklian used taxpayers money to try to buy votes (pork barrel) in her secret former boyfriend’s (Daryl Maguire) electorate of Wagga Wagga. Daryl Maguire is already facing criminal charges and may face more next week as well.

From December 2022: Former NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian’s former sexual partner Daryl Maguire was in court on Tuesday facing charges of criminal conspiracy over an alleged visa fraud scam while he was a NSW MP.

Daryl Maguire “has been charged with criminal conspiracy over allegations he carried out a lucrative cash-for-visas scheme while he was sitting in the NSW parliament.”

“Maguire’s alleged cash-for-visas scheme was the subject of Independent Commission Against Corruption hearings in 2020, and he was later investigated by the Department of Home Affairs and Border Force.” (Click here to read more)

John Barilaro could also be facing perjury charges as I know the NSW ICAC did receive a formal complaint against him which I outlined in the below video and article I published titled “John Barilaro accused of perjury regarding his alleged multiple affairs in evidence sent to the NSW ICAC”. (Click here to read the article)

John Barilaro’s girlfriend Jennifer Lugsdin was also under investigation by the NSW ICAC in August 2022 and whether anything did or will come of it might be revealed next week. (Click here to read more)

The inquiry finished public hearings in October/November 2021 and all the parties who gave evidence were given until about May 2022 to respond with written submissions. Those submissions could be dynamite and might reveal matters we haven’t heard before.

I published an article and video (as per below) in October 2021 titled “Gladys Berejiklian’s barrister flags going the nuclear option and start naming all NSW politicians who have had undeclared “intimate personal relationships” and I suspect Gladys Berejiklian has ratted on numerous people in her written submissions in an attempt to protect herself. It has been about 20 months since the public hearings finished and over 12 months since the final written submissions should have been tendered so it seems an extreme and unacceptable time delay for a final report. But I will keep an open mind as maybe there are reasons for it.

I followed the hearings in October 2021 closely and if there are no criminal charges recommended against Gladys Berejiklian something is badly wrong.

  1. But how could these claims be true, former PM Morrison stated numerous times the former NSW Premier had been railroaded and was innocent, a character reference from this former PM would have to help the former NSW Premier, just unfortunate that the former Premier suffered memory fade 75 + times whence before ICAC, happens to the best of our MPs who hold high positions.

  2. What a terrible accusation to make against a LIARBRAL Premier. Obviously John Pork-barrelo was responsible for all these maladministration events. St Gladys Binchicken could never be that corrupt, even with a new barrister boyfriend.

It will be interesting to discover whether the NSW ICAC has read all the evidence presented in the public forum by this, and other independent new media.

  3. If Gladys Berejiklian’s corrupt conduct occurred in Victoria she would be cleared as the Victorian premier Dan Andrews.
Dan Andrews state IBAC don’t have an ICAC as NSW as he would have been jailed long ago if it did with all his many alleged corruptions with the alleged millions of dollars of taxpayer money being used for fraudulent grants for the Victorian Health Workers Union controlled by Bill Shorten and another with the Victorian Firefighters Union, to name two.
If Gladys Berejiklian resigned whilst being investigated – why is Dan Andrews still here? many people have asked the same question.
The Victorian Premier should be held to the same standard as the former NSW premier Gladys Berejiklian, not the weak IBAC investigations that occur in Victoria.
Bill Shorten is another politician who has been able to keep his corruption from the Australian people. Being made responsible for the NDIS is like putting the fox in charge of the hen house!

  4. Today, Friday 30 June, one day after the lame duck finding by ICAC, St Gladys heaves a sigh of relief.

I, for one, find ICAC’s decision appalling. I clearly heard on one of the taped phone taps, St Gladys assuring Dazza she would ring Parrothead immediately and order him to hand over the $Millions of pork barrel cash. Unabashed, she boasted that as Premier, her order would be obeyed.

    WTF?
